I am not normally a "tech head" but I am overly impressed with the Echo Dot. We purchased two of them along with an Echo and love the convenience that they bring. I love being able to use them like an intercom system throughout the house. It make getting the kids up for school super easy. I also love using them to play music and order items on Amazon. I am sure I have just scratched the surface on their capabilities.

Awesome device especially when you cannot have the privilege of the echo at your disposal. Sound is not quite as loud as the echoBut plenty loud and very crisp clean sound

The Echo Dot is a truly unique and one of a kind gift. Easy to set up and a joy to use. You never get bored with the many facets and useful ways it can make life easier.

I have just started to explore the benefits of my echo dot, but so far I have enjoyed the information received, playing music, controlling lights, and easy use of Alexa.

What a great addition to our house. This brought home automation to those of us who are not super tech-savvy or electrical engineers by trade. This was so easy to setup and streaming music to a Bluetooth speaker makes for great music while we eat our family dinners. We added Phillips Hue light bulbs and also the Samsung smart things to have voice-controlled outlets (Christmas lights). Pairing all of this with Alexa was a breeze!

I purchased 2 Echo Dot devices to stream music through 2 levels of my home. It does what I wanted it to do effortlessly! I will be purchasing a third for my family room!

I bought one for myself and my mom really liked it, so I got her one too. She is 76 years old and has arthritis which makes it difficult for her to turn knobs and push buttons.. With the echo she can use voice commands to set her alarm clock, get the latest weather, news and play all of her favorite music. This great for seniors who have trouble with mp3 players, because they can just ask alexa to play the songs they want.

I have a full size Amazon Echo in my living room so I bought this DOT to go in the bedroom. It works well and the volume level is quite good given how small the unit is.

This product really helps me out at home when im coming home from work tired.. (got it hooked up with harmony hub) all i gotta do is talk to alexa and my music is playing

I really like the echo dot. If you have amazon unlimited music I highly recommend the echo! You can tell it to play whatever song you want. My biggest problem is the speaker doesn't get very loud. If you want to listen to music I suggest the bigger Echo.

I bought the echo because it was bundled with the fire stick. I didn't know what it was until I opened it but now that I have it I love it. It is a lot of fun and could be very useful with the expansion like the hue lights and such. The issues I have found are nothing huge just it tends to disconnect from my Bluetooth phone making it so you can't stream music and such without stopping to reconnect it. Also my two year old talks to Alexa and she has commented things a two year old might not need to hear. Such as playing the song thong song as a more mild example. It is cool because it has games and you can ask it multiple things. Another issue is that it will randomly butt into conversations in the room if it thinks it heard you say Alexa. Which can be really funny or annoying depending on the situation. Overall I highly recommend Alexa just be cautious with children.

I procrastinated on trying this device out for quite some time. I am very glad I finally bought the Dot. I learn something new it can do for me almost every day. Tells me the weather, news, traffic any time I ask. I even found I can use it as a timer which I use more than I would have ever thought, it will even tell you a joke if you ask. Best Cool Tool I have got in a long time. I would highly recommend this. Great time saver.

I have 2 white echo dots so far and one black one. They all work great and I'll be expanding my collection of them so I've got either an Echo or Echo Dot in every room.

Works great even when it's playing loud music it will still here you when you say Alexa stop it's so nice to not have to type in what question or music it's a must have

I love my Dot! Alexa is very helpful with reminders and news updates. There have been times that she doesn't catch all that I say, but will catch it the second time. This is a pint size, so don't expect the speaker to be super loud, but it is loud enough for my decent size apartment (which is 755sqft). The sound quality is good, but not all that, so I wouldn't use it for parties either. All in all, it's a helpful little device.

Love my Echo Dot. I bought this one to go in the bathroom as a bluetooth speaker and an extra Alexa. Sound is ok, but, i love having Alexa available all over the house.

This is an additional dot for a spare bedroom. Having purchased Echos and Dots previously for our house, I knew that this would be a good compliment for a small bedroom

Its basically like having Google or SIRI at your disposal without ever having to reach for your phone. If you are an Amazon customer, it is even more extremely useful!!!

I have a total of 5 Echo dot in my house, 1 in my 1 year old son to play baby music, one in the Florida room where the children enjoyed play their favorite songs, one in the master bedroom, one in the dining livingroom, and one in the basement where still working on changing the light switches to mart switches............ I love it, price is low, and able to connect computer speakers to it for better quality sounds.....

I like how I can ask about the weather or get a news briefing while I am getting ready in the morning. I know there is a lot more that I could use this for, but I find it is the simple things that are timesavers that I keep coming back to. Good product.
