I hooked it up to a TV in my shop area which is quite a distance away from times my house and it works well and I am very pleased with it and found it very easy to use

At the $30 holiday price we couldn't resist getting one for the attic. It is a bit over the top, but being able to control the lights with voice commands was worth it.

Love these Dots! Have them in multiple rooms at home, including my shop. Got newest one for my office to play music, make ToDo lists, etc. with free hands. Sooo handy!

When I purchased this, I didn't know it would do as much as it does. I love being able to listen to basically any song without having to look anything up. Super smart!

Excellent price and solid features makes this a worth gift to yourself or others. Small form factor mated with amazing mics allows you to place it anywhere in a room. For the price you can’t beat it especially if your home is filled with similar items. Only drawback is that it’s not a 3rd gen unit and bass response is lacking but not unexpected given the design constraints.

Have purchased one of these for all the rooms in our house. It makes a real smooth transition as you move from room to room. Have separate blue tooth speakers as well.

This device was super easy to set up and Alexa does so many cool and convenient tasks. Good starting point if you want to try Alexa before going with the larger devices.

This has all of the function of the full size version without the full size price. The speaker is good for info but if you want to play music I recommend a bt speaker.

So happy with this. It’s connexted to my Bluetooth speaker so I can just ask Alexa to play an artist and she starts shuffling from my amazon prime music or my Spotify!

I bought 4 of these for my coworkers and they love it. They're all teachers so they enjoy having them in their classroom. The students get a good kick out of them too.

Great product to try with a senior. Teaching simple commands from a script allows person to set timers, schedule appointments and listen to music with voice commands.

I've got two as well as three Google Homes. All work as they're supposed to. I use the Google Homes more often than the Echo Dot, but that's due to personal preference.

Good sound quality and good features, with the color of white being more suitable for this gift item. Personally, I like the black ones but that is a personal choice.

I purchased this to go along with an Echo that I received as a Christmas gift. I didn't think that I would use it much, but it has been a real time saver. I can ask it to help with recipes in the kitchen, make hands free phone call while I clean, find out what time the nearest hardware store closes, listen to audio books, etc, etc. I really do enjoy this gadget. Awesome purchase! Well worth the money!

I was dubious at first to the notion that I would actually use the Echo Dot. I certainly was not going to pay more than 50 dollars for an item like this so the price point was spot on. Alexa is a very helpful assistant. I have it set up in my bedroom and listen to news as I get ready in the morning. It integrates with my nest thermostat and nothing says luxury like not having to get out of bed to raise the temperature!

I love to ask Alexa to play different types of music, get the weather report, & play games. The only thing I wish she would do is play through her speaker as well as through the Bluetooth speaker so I could hear the music in two rooms at the same time.

All I can say is this is one of those items I never thought I needed. But once you have it you never want to be without it again. Amazon Echo in any one of the three models is amazing. The functionality is the same. Only difference is the speaker. I've got tons of bluetooth speakers so I decided to get the Echo Dot. The more I mess around with it the more I learn and the more valuable it becomes. Highly recommended!

The Echo is an awesome product! It can be set up in an room and you don’t have to have 1 I every room to make it work. It can be programmed to do just about anything!

I love the little dot! It isn’t as loud as a full size Alexa but just as amazing. I especially like being able to just say my shopping list and “boom” it’s on my app.
