Easy to set up and has been a fun gadget so far.

It does a fairly good job of this but is limited to fairly simple, straightforward questions. Seems to be more knowledgeable about popular culture topics (e.g., Who starred in the movie "La La Land"?) than history, science, politics, etc. The Dot can set a timer, turn on/off a radio station, tell you the weather forecast. It CANNOT turn on the lights, adjust room temperature, or otherwise manage your home environment unless you also buy a special device for that purpose (e.g., Nest), which is often rather expensive.
