My Echo Dot was stolen out of my apartment from under my nose, and the device didn't 'ding' to signal the power was cut off. I'm not sure if the 3rd gen fixed this problem, but I can't even go about tracking where my Echo Dot is because they haven't set it up yet! I've tried checking the Alexa apps on my phone, my laptop, and through a browser, but I'm just not able to track her down. That's the only reason I took a star off: it lacks security features.

Alexa seems to misunderstand a lot and nowadays, every commercial or show that says Alexa on the tv will set her off. It’s speaker isn’t that great of quality to use as a music player, but it is usable. I don’t use it nearly as much as i thought i would. Maybe the bigger or newer units have better speakers and technology.
