Excellent, after repeated install attempts

The set up requires that the Alexa cell phone app has both a WIFI connection (to the Dot), and a cell connection for the app menus. I finally had to run outdoors with the Dot on an extension cord, with the cell phone up a hill to get the required connections. (AND you need to edit your settings to the cell phone to keep the WIFI from being the default connection) The very limited installation instructions do not cover this situation. Once installed, Alexa is a blast! (Alexa, give me a hug.)

Best small device ever!

She works from home and usually streams Pandora through her laptop while working. Unfortunately Pandora updated their free service to the point where you have to stay on the Pandora page or it will pause the music. With this little device she can stream music all day and even use "Alexa" to rate and skip songs to further tailor her playlist to her liking.

Amazon Echo DOT - I bought 4!

I am an Amazon Prime member & this integrates nicely with my efforts to keep my home stocked. I am looking forward to when Amazon will expand Alexa's skill sets even further. And I am learning to be polite when asking Alexa for something because reading Ray Kurzweil has revealed to me that she could litigate (and win) but probably not for a few years...
