We got this on sale, its really nice, got it hooked up to Amazon Prime , plays lots of music. got a Bluetooth speaker hooked up to. it tells a lot of info.

I have two of my own and I'm buying them now as gift for friends and family. If you have Amazon prime these devices are a must have and $30 is a great deal

We purchased 3 Echo Dots and have them place around the house controlling lights, stereo, and Tv. Very convenient to setup with home smart devices. Always new Alexa skills coming out so enjoying finding all the fun games and convenient skills like “Alexa, when is the next Blues hockey game?” It replies with date, time, location and opponents. Just plain fun to have around the house.

i read so much about this unit and since the price is so cheap on black friday i went ahead and gave it a try. So glad i did. Everything is up to the hype.

These things are the best thing since sliced bread. I have one in every room of my house. I bought enough for everyone to put in their stockings this year.

I have the echo, and I wanted something for my bedroom. This is great. The sound is not as good as the regular echo, but I just connected a good Bluetooth speaker and works great. And I can take the speaker into the bathroom when showering and/or shaving and getting ready in the morning and listed to talk radio. This thing is awesome and a great price!

I have added these dots to all my kids rooms. They can listen to music or set alarms or ask questions. Plus we can use it as an intercom. No more yelling.

I do everything on this crazy thing from ordering household items on Amazon to making my lists and lifting myself up with a joke or doing a little yoga. A lot of times you can find these on sale now they're not expensive at all I think every household should have 1. And as far as the spying goes you can mute so your voice is not heard.

The 2nd geration Echo has Alexa voice capable of working with Amazon Firestick with Alexa voice! It works with the smart plug also to control lights, etc!

We bought two of these for the primary purpose of linking them to our main Alexa. We now have an easy to use intercom system throughout the house. Love it

We were visiting a friend and saw how they used the dots to basically have an intercom system throughout the house. The 2nd generation dot has come down in price and made it more affordable to put one in every room. With the announcement feature it is easy to let everyone know no matter where they are that dinner is ready. Different music in every room is a bonus.

I’m a big Apple consumer all around but after tons of research and testing, I went to alexa over Siri (Apple home kit) to make my full home a smart house.

The Amazon Echo Dot is a great device, it allows the integration of multiple products that I had previously purchased. I have the ability to control TP Link and Iris switches with voice commands. Over all I would recommend this product.

Love this device. Works so much better than similar products. Understands you, carries on conversations. Works great with all kinds of apps and home automation products. Reads kindle books out loud, plays audible books, turn lights on and off, makes you coffee (turns on the coffee pot), lets me talk to the delivery guy at the door (if you have the right door bell), she even reads me bedtime stories.

This is an awesome music player, homework helper, traffic and weather information and much more. I connected it to my a/v receiver and it has been party all the time but on Sunday morning...smooth jazz. You can not go wrong with the Dot.

Bought it as a stocking stuffer for my kids so that they can play music in their rooms. They love being able to talk to it and request music on their own.

This device is awesome, not only is it easily integrated with many accessories, it’s just a fun and inexpensive toy to add to my growing tech collection. I found it to be very responsive and Had a reasonable sound quality for the size.

This is my third Amazon echo product but my first dot. We have two of the 1st generation large echo units and we got the dot because of the amazing price. It does everything that my larger one does but lacks the quality sound that I am used to. We bought the battery pack making this one portable but because it is not as loud it works best in small rooms where you are sitting next to it. Alexa is great, and will entertain you for hours but if you are planning to use it for music you may want to consider a larger speaker. This works great for the drop in feature to allow the intercom system throughout the house. Over all it was a great value for the price!

I bought one for myself and loved how simple it is to set up and use. So I bought another for a gift for my elderly mother. She enjoys her new companion!
