    If your looking to take advantage of Alexa’s capabilities on a budget then the Dot is for you. Even though the speaker isn’t as loud as the normal Echo, the Dot still works for a small room (we have our’s in our bathroom for playing music while showering/getting ready in the morning) and is great as an addition to the normal Echo for a secondary room.
