Bought one for my college age daughter. We no longer fight for our Echo. And I purchased another for a guest bedroom. Love it, and do fo my guests.

I gave this to my brother in law as a gift. The whole family loves it. I liked it so much, I ordered one for myself. It’s a big hit with the kiddos.

I picked up one for myself and keep discovering ways to use this product. At a price of $29.99 I went back and bought three more to give as gifts!!

I was considering amazon echo but for more than half the cost this worked out better for me. Echo dot can make any speaker blutooth compatible and has all the features of the regular echo. They are always adding more skills for "alexa" to learn so theres alot to try. The voice recognition is very good and it never misunderstands me. must buy if you have smart lights like hue light bulbs.

Bought Alexa for my grandkids last Christmas and they loved it! Buying the echo this Christmas at their request, so they can use in their bedrooms.

I absolutely love Alexa! It is the best tech purchase I have ever made. Can't wait to start adding smart plugs and other items to go along with it!

Amazon's little Dot is bang for your buck. It does the same functions as their more expensive Echo and Tap devices. The Dot has a built in speaker but can connect to a bluetooth speaker which I got one for $20. The more you ask it, the smarter it gets. I like to use it for Pandora, weather, news, playing Jeopardy and audible books. I want to get smart lightbulbs later and try it out.

It doesn't clean or do the dishes, but it will do everything else! This dot is amazing. It has been a life changer for me. The only con is that the speaker isn't great, but you can hook your own sound system to it to improve it.

What did I do before this little gem? The same things I do now, but with a lot less fuss. Alexa, via the Echo Dot, makes things at home easier. No more getting up from my comfy couch when I'm about to binge a show and want the lights dimmed or off. No more reaching for my laptop for basic google questions and no more reaching for my iPhone to call mom -- Alexa will do it for me.

Purchased for my children who are in college. They had asked for the DOT for their college dorm rooms along with the electrical turn on item. They love it. They can ask it questions to help with assignments and turn on the lights to their dorm room so they do not have to walk into a dark room.

They Echo is a great addition to my home automation gadgets. It let's me do basic activities like turning lights on and off or dimming them. While I do have to use the app on my phone for some more complicated automation tasks, it's nice to be able to carry out the simple operations without finding my phone or tablet. And it's small enough to be placed almost anywhere.

I am having soooo much fun asking Alexa to play my favorite Christmas hymns! Awesome! Now if I could only afford a nice speaker to Bluetooth it to!

Purchased the dot to extend our Alexa experience, she controls lights, thermostat, front door lock and bringing our home closer to a world with A.I.

This is a great little assistant for making your home a smart home. Alexa assist with turning my hue lights on, and my nest tempature up and down.

I wasnt sure how often I would use it before i purchased it not knowing much about it. I use it all the time know and am glad I made the purchase.

I love my Echo Dot, works perfect in my kitchen and Is small enough to be kinda hidden. So Happy! Love using it to add things to my shopping list!

I moved my full size echo to the bedroom so I could listen to music while in that room. I put the dot in the living room where just a basic speaker is enough since I listen through the the entertainment center. I have them connected to various devices such as lights, harmony remote, wink hub, and arlo cameras. I also use IFTTT to automate routines. I really enjoy it and use it everyday.

Bought this or my daughter along with Fire Stick for Christmas. She loves both items and is satisfied with sound quality from such a small device.
