Its good for one room, but not the whole house. Plus you need to be a Amazon Prime member to get alot of the features available and it would also be nice if your home would be a smart home with smart devices. Other then that its a great tool to have. Beats going to google search for everything...

INTERESTING PRODUCT

I find the product easy to set up and use but it has limited "intelligence". Amazon is off to a nice start with this AI device but users should set their expectations rather low. The product reminds me of the old "8 Ball" toy that you would ask questions of and the "8 Ball" would give you one of 8 different answers regardless of the question. Maybe a 50 IQ

Great extension for echo but....

I knew this after reading reviews but figured it would be good to have in a smaller room in the finished basement. I'm not going to lie, I was expecting a little better sound quality and volume from it, being the second generation, but still wasn't completely disappointed.

You might prefer the Dot the the Echo
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The Echo is nice as a standalone speaker, but if you have a high quality Bluetooth speaker, you might prefer to use the Dot and it's Bluetooth connectivity rather than use an Echo. The external speaker might sound better, and its far cheaper than the Echo. But using Alexa on either product is great. I have a mix of both Echos and Dots
