Since it does not have a search engine attached to it (like Google Home), asking questions to look up items of interest is limited. "Alexa" is only able to do what "skills" she has available. While the skills are plentiful, still not the same has having the power of a search engine at your finger tips.

Reluctantly purchased but well worth it.

I didn't think I would use it much. I am glad I bought it. I use it everyday. When I read about it the point is missed at what this device is best at. And that is streaming music. You can use Amazon Music or Spotify libraries for a small monthly fee. It also streams thousands of radio stations as well and that is free. It also connects to your favorite Bluetooth speaker with ease.

With Alexa I'm enjoying controlling everything. I've yet to use it for streaming music and things like that. More for voice activated home automation. Will be getting one for my bedroom, so I don't have to shout to the one in the living room to turn off my lights.
