At first we were unaware of its utility, but within minutes we were using it to play music from our existing playlists and ask Internet-answerable questions. Simple to use, remarkably good voice recognition, very useful, and lots of fun.

Ergonomically intuitive

With little training she was able to search for general topics, order supplies, and "keep her company." We are also setting it up for first responders in case she is in need of help when she is alone. Truly a brilliant device.

I like it.....

However with time, I saw that I just use more google services than Alexa/Amazon. Alexa also takes more time to pour through all of the "skills" to find something useful to me. There seemed to be more "cues" to remember than Google Home. Maybe if I used more Amazon services it would come out on top... for now Ill stick with my google mini.

Perfect Start to a Smart Home
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.We are looking at upgrading almost all of our electronics, lights, cameras etc to be able to run from Alexa and wanted to start with the basics to see how it'd work in different parts of the home and see if we needed to upgrade our Wi-Fi. I'd tell anyone looking for this type of product it's a great way to start.

She can answer many questions, order products & services when asked. Finally ,she can operate third party devices such as Phillips Hue lighting products. This product is a very low cost entry in home automation. You will enjoy using this product.
