Alexa listen too much

Great little device

It actually is a little limited but my understanding is that it will continue of learn. It's nice though just to tell it what you need and if it's within its knowledge it will tell you. The replies are much more spot on than my iPad.

Alexa does everything for you!

The echo reads to her until she falls asleep, it will set alarms for her to wake up, it plays all kinds of music for her. You cannot ask for anything better than the Echo for someone who is going through infusions of chemo. We also love our Echo. Amazing!!!

Alexa makes life easy

Alexa has far more compatibility with smart products than google and the echo dot makes it easy to have many of these in the house without having to spend much money. The speakers could be improved a little however I think Amazon has addressed this in the new version that is being released soon. Excited to see what Amazon has in store for us in the future.

I use it for timers, alarms, cooking questions, weather, to listen to the radio, add things to my shopping and to-do lists, besides many other things. The shopping list tied the the app is awesome. We have the big Echo and 3 Dots in the house. One of the Dots will serve as our radio/speaker on camping trips.

Makes Automation Easy

However, I found the benefits of home automation to be far more what I would use this system for. I really like the alarm clock and asking the weather or news. We have two in our home and are very happy--it's so easy to tell our Dot to shut our lights off now.

Worked great Then Died
