Great but too quiet
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.It might be worth getting a bluetooth speaker or one with an aux connector because it is quiet. Let me rephrase that, if you are in a quiet room it will suffice but if you plan to listen to music while washing dishes or doing household chores, the speaker will be worth the price. Other than that, it is pretty good. My one wish - I wish it could connect to hidden networks. Even when storing the SSID information it was unable to connect.

3rd one!

It's great to use the 'drop-in' feature with other Echo Dot locations in the house. No more having to yell at each other! Also integrated with a Harmony Smart Hub - incredibly cool! Don't have to worry about losing the remote anymore - we can do everything by voice!

The microphone seems to pick up our voices pretty well and response time is good. We added a better speaker to go with the unit since the one built in for the Dot is not very good but knew that going in.

Good product, but short on apps
