Love my echo dot easy to use. Little trouble hooking up tv. Works great with other household items

I purchased this on the advice of a Best Buy consultant as it is very useful for someone like me that uses Amazon's music/streaming services as their main source of music. I was so impressed with the one I bought, that I bought a few more to put in various rooms around my house. As well as having music and Amazon Echo access in all these rooms, it acts as a great intercom system using the Amazon "drop in" functionality.

Works as expected as the Echo. Wife loves the use in the uppwr floors and to use as a back up alarm

I use it daily while cooking and when I wake up in the morning to ask about weather and traffic

Alexa has trouble understanding some commands and questions. We mostly use it as an alarm clock and to play music. The default is to Prime music which is a little annoying - i.e. if the album I request is not on Prime music I shouldn't have to ask it to hunt spotify, it would be nice if it just tried there next without asking since I clearly connected the app to the Echo. It's solid, but I hope it's interface improves with time.

I have the Amazon Echo and I don't like moving it around the house to listen to my music, so I bought Dot. She is very handy, but the sound is not nearly as good as Echo, but I knew this before hand. She does everything her big sister does. One caveat, if you want to listen to Amazon music you will have to have another subscription for the Dot. But the price to have almost every song in the Amazon library is worth it,

I bought the Echo Dot for my wife's birthday. She loved it. It comes in handy for everyday use!

I love the dot it's compact and stays hidden well. Connecting to Bluetooth speakers is a huge plus.

This is a very good product. I like how it recognize what I say and delivery feedback with accuracy

So far, I'm still learning my way around it, but I'm enjoying having an 'assistant'. It is quicker to get my calendar and the weather in the mornings, and with amazon prime music, it's handy for background music when I want to read. I can even get movie listings and times. There's a lot it won't do, but there's more in the works, I hear. All in all, I could live without it, but why not include a little whimsy in one's life?

I LOVE BEING ABLE TO REQUEST MUSIC WHILE I WORK AROUND THE HOUSE. ALEXA TELLS THE CORNIEST JOKES BUT THEY MAKE ME LAUGH .MY GRANDKIDS LOVE IT AS WELL ASKING HER MATH QUESTIONS AND ANYTHING ELSE THEY CAN COME UP WITH TO ASK HER. IT IS ALOT OF FUN FOR ALL AGES FROM 1 TO 90. VERY PLEASED WOTH THE PURCHASE.

Was able to get it working at work, great addition to the office. Important note, could not get it to recognize the main Internet connection which has 2 phase authentication, but the guest network set up just fine and stays connected! Was afraid would have to log in daily, but all is working great!

Good for playing music in controlling smart devices. Occasionally have problems losing the network.

Nice Gadget - not sure must have device. Need to buy extra devices to get to nicer features

I like the fact that the dot can learn new skills everyday, specially with spotify and news apps
