Love this product. It tells you the weather, plays your music and gives you a lot of information you need to know. JUST ASK! Responds so quickly when prompted. Easy to set up and user friendly. Will definitely get 2nd echo dot.

Echo dot is an economical first step in upgrading your home technology. It has several features and is easy to set up and install.

I'm really impressed by this little gadget. It (she?) Responds promptly and accurately. I can yell from cross the room and I'll get a response. It was simple to set up, and I love that it uses an app and records all of your requests to it for easy look-up. I wish it was battery powered for easier relocation around the house, and there are times where I'll ask a question from point blank range and get no response. When using, make sure the background noise is limited and you're speaking clearly.

I paired this with my JBL Charge 3 and have awesome sound when I need it. Can also drop in on family that has the Echo products.

Gave this to two people as a gift and they both are extremely pleased with this. Price point is fantastic for this item as well.

Cool device, response to voice is amazing. Speaker is good for a small room with potential to connect it to other Bluetooth. Nice

Dot is good but definitely doesn't have the sound of the Echo. Didn't expect it to. It's great for a wake up alarms and other features. And it interfaces with my Echo to play the same music in all rooms.

This came out before the google home, but they are a lot alike. With the exception of the price. It's small, so it's not an eye sore in a room. Fits nicely on a night stand or end table. Speaker is ok for a single room. I have a smaller home, so it can hear me fairly well. If you are looking to start a smart home on a budget, this is the gadget for you!

Brought the echo dot for my kids because they love to listen to music! Alexa is very helpful....& does more than just play music

I had heard about the Echo dot and wanted to try one to see how it would work. They did more than what I thought and I love it!!

I got this for my wife because she has a fire stick and amazon prime mebership. We keep it in our kitchen, because the family is usually all together in there. Right out of the box the Echo was super simple to set up. I already had Amazon app on my phone and Alexa recognized info from my account. It even asked to use the same wifi and I didnt have to enter our password. My kids connected it to their bluetooth speaker. We cant wait to get other components like lights and thermostat that Alexa can operate for us. Alexa is great at understanding complex questions, even from my three yr old. I plan on buying another for upstairs. This would also be a great gift for anyone of any age. I could see the Echo being a real asset to an elderly person who lives alone and isn't mobile. There aren't many things in life that I can say wow me, but the Echo just makes me feel like my life just got a little easier. The only thing negative I have found is that one of my little guys was trying to get Alexa to tell him about a Pokemon and she asked him if she needed to place an order for it. My wife had bought one on Amazon a while back, so I guess that was the correlation. I found that I could disable the ordering feature. So be careful.

This has become my favorite smart device. Alexa is so helpful and does many things. The sound is decent on this product as well!

Smaller version of its big brother the Amazon Echo. Its smaller size makes it more versatile in some ways. It has a small built-in speaker, which is surprisingly good, but easily connects to a Bluetooth speaker for fuller sound. Not bad at all for its size and the big cost savings since most of us already have Bluetooth speakers around. Not bad at all.

I love the Echo dot So much that I have two in my house. I bought a third one as a gift and I am sure they are going to love it.

Purchased during Black Friday. Great deal and easy to use. Using it to my home office to control philips hue lights and sony tv.

This one was bought for a Christmas gift so has not been used yet. I have 2 in my home and don't know how I got by without them.

Brought it for my sister. She is new with electronic. I wanted to purchase one for myself. Not bad for the price. Well worth it.

I like these things. They work well great for music and kitchen timers. Getting into home automation and works well for that too

The dot is great for telling you time temperature and weather in answering very direct simple questions but is kind of annoying every time there is a commercial for it and it hears its name and wakes up.

I have both the Echo and the Echo Dot. If you are connecting to a stereo system this is the one you want. It does everything the big brother does and then some. It can stream to Bluetooth. Big brother can't. Just not are good of sound from internal speaker. It has audio line out jack. Big brother doesn't. Great for the price savings. I also recommend for elderly people who have vision problems. My mother uses it for time, sports scores, weather, news and reading books to her. She loves it.
