Great gadget for the price but annoying sometimes once you figure out how set it up!

Now I can use Alexa in my main media room and have the device connected to my audio system.

easy to setup, sound okay, able to call from other amazon devices to wake my son up.

Almost like having another person in the house. Having a lot of fun with it and practical.

At times it is unreliable but for the most part it behaves as described. I have to speak the exact keywords. Which, I guess is to be expected at this juncture in tech. My Apple HomePod is a little more forgiving but doesn’t control as many smart devices at this time. I would say that I am happy and satisfied with the Dot. I went and ordered a second one for a family member in the household.

I was given an Amazon-Echo Dot as a gift and I was hesitant to set it up. Afrter I finally set it up I bought a few extras and had to by this Echo Dot so I now have one in the livingroom and bedroom and can control things in both rooms. Just love it. I even bought one for my son as a gift.

Love my echo dot. My only complaint is that I often have to repeat certain commands.

The Alexa Echo Dot is so much more intuitive than the Google Home. It doesn't just web search like the Home does. Once I get more familiar with the many commands it can do, I'll be able to use it more often. For now, it's weather, traffic, jokes and recipes that I've used it for.

Price was great. Performed as expected. Will buy another when they go on sale again.

My friend had gotten an echo dot and I wasn't so sure about it. But I did and am glad I did. But the caveat is to get the Amazon music service for $4 A month too. My grandkids love asking Alexa questions (me too) and I use her for the music service plus I heart radio. A great buy at 50 bucks.

The Echo Dot is just as functional as our full sized Echo, but the speaker is not nearly as good on the Dot. We use it upstairs to control our Samsung SmartThings from our bedroom. The larger Echo is downstairs in the main living area where we can control SmartThings as well as listen to music. A great companion to your existing full size Echo, specially if you find on sale (we paid $29 USD).

We purchased this as a gift for one of our children. It set up quickly and was easy to use.

I really like the echo dot. I can see myself getting the bigger one and additional dots .

Alexa sits between us in the living room and has become a member of the family. I especially like to listen to music while writing and always enjoy what the Dot finds for me. We have enabled many of her apps. It's very easy to use and very versatile. I can't wait to get one for the bedroom!

Let really like my echo dot.The sound quality is great. And voice activation works for me.
