Dot functions well

We have 6 lamps connected with Wemo outlets. Also use the timer function. The Bluetooth connect to wireless speakers occasionally looses connection with speaker but is easy to reconnect.

I like the fact that you can choose what apps you want to activate and kind of customize it to your own liking. I wish you could pick a man's voice if your female. Lol. Could be named Alex! Now don't go and patent that or I want a cut! Lol. I think its a great idea!

Baby echo rocks

It plugs right into my Bose soundbar and is fantastic. Everynight we ask Alexa to tell a joke and then climb in bed and use it to control streaming media. Love it. I've also used it as an alarm and for that alone I am grateful!

Fun addition to house

I really love the shopping list feature - no more forgetting my list at home. I tell Echo what I need and then can access it from my phone in the store.

The dot love it

Dot is part of the Alexa family. If you want stereo speaker sound you will need a speaker to go with dot. A good investment and good starting point for getting started in smart home.
