I wish I had one of these in every room! We have many smart home devices, and these are great to control them. Could the sound quality be better? Sure, but these are not meant to be hi-fi stereo quality. Get the regular Echo if audio quality is your priority.

Alexa is fun to play with. I ask her all kinds of crazy questions and she gives really funny answers. I use her for my Hue lights but I'm using two different apps to run the lights. Skills to dim and brighten but I use Iffft to change colors and trigger lights on and off.

We wanted to get all of our kids an Echo or Echo dot with auxiliary speaker for Christmas and they all seem to love them. The dot is a great and inexpensive way to dive into the "smart" environment. Alexa seems to be a very popular lady among our children now.

Seams like a great product, I gave it as a gift and haven't heard any complints

The whole family has been having a lot of fun with the Amazon echo. The kids ask Alexa questions all the time. We have been loving the easy access to our music library through Amazon music. The shopping list feature is also handy. All in all a very responsive, fun device.

To be able to walk into a room and say "Echo turn on the TV and the lights" an have it happen is amazing. It turns on the lamp next to my chair, my soundbar, my TV and my dish receiver and tunes to my preset channel. It was so good I got another one fro the bedroom!

Alexa is alot of fun but alot she doesn't know and can't do!! Still fun!

I would much prefer the google home over the echo. I am highly disappointed by this item. It isn't very helpful when you want to ask it a question, most of the time it will respond by saying "I cannot find the answer to that question". I like the google option from google home where I can ask it a question and based off of the google search it will find the answer. Most of the apps associated with the Echo, do not work correctly. I am glad I bought the cheaper one to find all this out. The only nice thing that I can say about this is that it does accurately play music when asked but google home does the same. I am very bummed by this since I was really wanting the Echo to work as I expected it to.

The Dot is great if you want a voice controlled assistant, DJ and home security device. The Dot plays music for you by genre or artist, turns on lights and other things when you have controller modules connected. Add stuff to the shopping list by voice Very Happy

I was a bit skeptical to buy this at first seeing as we have too many electronics as it is, but I'm glad I did. Alexa is my alarm clock, radio, and source for daily weather updates. I love the 7 microphones -- I don't have to yell across the room for her to hear me!

It's been great. I bought this when I got my Wink Hub 2 and I love being able to control things (lights, thermostat) by just talking to the Dot. I've also used it for way more than I thought I would. I get my weather every morning and enjoy hearing the news headlines.

It works fine. My son had fun asking it a bunch of questions.

Love just being able to speak and Alexa responds. Fun and functional gadget.

I love Echo Dot! It's a great device to have for streaming music, getting delivery notifications from Amazon, asking questions, and getting the right answers and, a whole lot more from this little Smart Speaker!
