I enjoy learning how to use Amazon Dot! I bought for my husband as a birthday gift since he's always looking things up on his phone. I thought he could just "Ask Alex!" I'm excited for us to learn about how to use it in our home. I think we'll both benefit.

Bought this as a little "fun" device for Christmas. This has rapidly become the center of our "connected home" It lives upstairs - now we have to get one for the living room! Speech recognition is amazing and integrates well with Phillips Hue and other smart devices.

I found this item to be very effective when integrated into the Echo system. However, some difficulties were encountered in the integration compatibility process. After obtaining the assistance of my son-in-law, we were able to have the item function correctly.

Alexa is a little frustrating because she so often cannot find the answer to your question but she comes in handy and at under $30, you can't go wrong. We bought one (or two) for everyone in our immediate family, including my 74 yo Mother. Now we can reach out to each other without our cell phones.

Alexa is good. There could be improvements. Sometimes it picks up audio from the tv and say random stuff. But, generally it is good. Even better if used with other compatible devices like philips hue for smart lighting. For another $4 per month, you could get amazon music unlimited. And Alexa can help play it. I would recomment to people who loves playing with technology.

It is everything I expected and more. Excellent for elderly.

Bought this unit for the kitchen It works great for info and playing music

We already have the "big" echo and use Alexa daily. We wanted to add one in another room but didn't want to spend another $170. The Dot perfectly does the job. Does everything the big one does....except music doesn't sound as full. But other than that, it's awesome!
