Lived up to the hype

Was pleasantly surprised who lived up to all the hype have purchased several more I am given many as gifts.

Alexa plays games, gives you weather , advice, tells you what type of clothes to wear and it seams that seems that it might mimic your significant others...

Love my dot

The only con was that when we talked to the echo, the dot upstairs would respond too. Has the ability to change the name from Alexa to a few other choices, so I did that so that both don't respond simultaneously. Problem easily fixed.

Alexa is the bomb.

Alexa is a big help in the kitchen and an even bigger one for music. Plus, she helps with math I don't feel like doing in my head. All around genius.

In addition it can creat "to do" lists and shopping list (which my wife likes) that can be access from your smart phone.

Cool Gadget with Possibilities.. BUT..
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.It is a great gadget, with many expandable possibilities, however.. if you want to play music on it (without using a playlist from your Ipod, etc) - You will need to pay for an Amazon Prime or Music account.. which are around $100 a year now.. also.. the "expandable possibilities" are not cheap by any means.. so, look into that if it's what you are getting it for.

Product works, just not sold on functionality

So that is why I give an average rating. It does seem to work, but sometimes comes on for no reason. All in all I think product is adequate.
