It was a great idea as a last minute decision to give as a birthday gift.

Still works. Super unappealing to the eyes and horrible sound quality but you can put this literally anywhere that gets a reliable WiFi signal. It’s annoying that she will start talking sometimes though.

I bought this at a great sale ($30) as a 2nd Dot to have in my bedroom. I think it is a great product and a great value. Unfortunately I gave it to a friend who really wanted one and now I am waiting for another good sale price so that I get replace it.

I purchased this as a Christmas present for my wife. We set it up on Christmas Day. Didn't think we would use it much, that is why we got the dot. I love this thing. We are now buying smart home plugs and going to get at least one more echo of some type.

This 2nd generation Echo Dot continues to provide a variety of music by request. Weather reports in the morning are useful. I need to find more uses for the device as "I don't know that one" is a common response. Would like to be able to give it a name instead of the 2-3 choices you can use. It would then make it more fun to use.... :)

I bought the Eco on the hype. I thought it would be cool but I never thought I would use it so much. I use it at least 5 times a day, and sometimes more. I love some of the features, but it still lacks some intelligence and connectivity. It is a fun thing to have around and it is very helpful when you have a question that you want a quick answer.

This Is a great product. I already had an amazon Alexa speaker in my living room but I wanted to add one upstairs as well so I could control the lights and more with my voice upstairs. Amazon makes great, quality products that work with very minimal startup.

I love having Alexia in the bathroom. While I get ready in the morning, I just ask her to play whatever music I want to listen to. I ask her what the weather is going to be for the day so I know how to dress. We like it so much, we got one for our workout room too.

I bought the amazon echo dot as a gift and after seen it work, I decided to buy one for myself. Sometimes, I wish I can have Alexa in my car so I can ask her questions. It was very easy to install and you get regular updates via email on what the echo dot can do.

I love the fact that you can ask it to play whatever you are looking for.

Really having fun with this gadget. Going to pick up another one for the garage and one for the pool. Easy to pair into my big soundbar to make the music sound better. Lots of "skills" can be enabled to make it more fun. The more you use it the better it becomes.

Love the echo dot wish I would of invested in the big one with the specker

We start our day using the dot and as things arise sorting the day. Great for timers, alarms, shopping list, calendar, to do lists, music, fun facts, jokes and many other things. Don't use for Yo mama jokes as there are several inappropriate ones for younger kids.
