I have purchased 3 Echo Dots for various rooms in the house. While we do not use them all the time, it is good to have them available for quick questions, to turn on/off our lights with the Alexa compatible plugs and occasionally for music. Could use a better speaker, but given the price, it's not unexpected that the sound is sub-par to most Bluetooth speakers.

Product works great, set up was easy. It made a great Father's day gift!

I love the Dot. It is a great tool to assist in remembering chores, waking you up and much more. I personally like the jokes told by "Alexa". The exercise feature is great. I like the fact that she streams my Pandora and more. I personally think it is a must have.

The Echo dot was a gift to our 92 year old relative who has limited mobility. The voice activation gave him a sense of increased ability and we connected it to lights in the house which he could turn on and off just by voice command. An excellent gift and product.

What's better than Alexa? She adds to my shopping list, gets answers in a heartbeat, plays games... So I needed a second one for our other house. The shopping list is updated in real time in my phone making it extra convenient to shop for the in laws.

This is a great little device especially if you love Amazon.

I feel like I have a new friend. Alexa tells me what time it is and the date, sings me songs, give me the news and she even tells me stories with my name in it. We were laughing so hard. I would certainly recommend her to friends and family. She brightens my day.

Bought the Echo Dot thinking it would be life changing for simple tasks, keeping shopping lists and playing music. It did everything it said it would do, but I just didn't find it useful or a solution to any problem I had, so I returned it. Maybe down the road is it does more and more I'll re-purchase.

Not quite ready for primetime but at $50 it's a fun toy to play around with.

Like the dot. Lots of skills to utilize. Doesn’t work w Ring.

Needed a dot to go with my echo plus. Had worked good so far.

My first purchase into the smart home family. So far so good.

I was a little hard to connect to her WIFI but after that it was great. I would recommend this for everyone. Also got on for my son in college and it reminds him of due dates and his favorite song playlist. He said why didn't I but this for him sooner.

Still learning all the features of echo in general but it has made mornings easier. Kids can now check the days weather forecast while getting ready. Wife can listen to music via voice control over connected Bluetooth soundbar. Love the daily quizzes and facts.

I liked it so much I bought a second one for a separate room. Mostly I just stream my radio station through them but it's also convenient to get quick answers to questions re. the weather, etc. The one in the kitchen comes in handy for converting measurements.

If you havent got one of these devices. You should try it out. I love the fact you can ask all kinds of questions from asking what the weather forecast is , so setting timers and alarms. .... its an excellent device to have in the home.

i like the echo it is convenient to have smart plugs in the home.

Speaker has good sound and it will let you know what is not hooked up to it

I already had an Echo and loved it so when I needed a new alarm clock for my bedroom I bought a Dot instead of a normal clock. I use it as an alarm but like getting the news and weather in the morning. Much better than a clock radio and takes up less space.
