After purchasing the Echo dot. I found it easy setup and easy to work woth

Easy set up, just have to get Amazon app; moving towards full use of it

Purchased for grandson he is very happy that I bought it for him.

Good starter bluetooth device. I use it mainly for streaming music.

Purchased this for my father as a Christmas gift since he is big on technology. Excellent decision! This Echo is a great product for around the house. Not just for playing music or asking questions, but for control of various items around the home. Worth buying!

Don't get this for streaming music. :) But I'd you just want a companion dot in other rooms you can't beat these. And in case you do want to stream music, they do have an audio out aux jack if you have a nice speaker you want to attach.

Functionally, the dot works just like the Echo. It's simply that the speaker is "less". I easily connected my Dot to a bluetooth speaker to give it better sound and I couldn't be happier. Definitely, a more price conscious choice than purchasing multiple Echos.

I could not figure out how I would use an Echo Dot before purchase. Now I have 3 in different rooms. It is very inexpensive yet provides a wide range of services. I use the music, news, podcasts, sleep sounds so far. You learn new things to do every day.

I like this version of Alexa better than the original dot

This is my 2nd Echo Dot device and I use this for home automation. Works great and I'm looking forward to continued integration with other devices. Integration with Samsung SmartThings has been great. Ability to control rooms or entertainment is great.

Who knew the the echo would take over the world. This thing is amazing. It controls my lights, thermostat, door locks, garage door opener... through my Vivint system. If you don't have Vivint, get it. By far the leader in Home Automation. Technology is GREAT!!!

nice product with unexplored uses. i've only gotten into the basics but enjoy researching what is available. being handicapped physically i think the smart home use is attractive. money is the roadblock for what could be helpful. who knows whats next?

The Echo & DOT are AMAZONING Products. The DOT is nice and compact, great for portability & travel. It works almost exactly like the full size Echo, however the speaker quality isn't great on the DOT. I plug my DOT into my SONOS Speaker System. Great product!!!

Amazing how much info a little ‘Dot’ can provide! I can start the the day with “Good Morning”, get the news and then listen to music while I eat breakfast - periodically stopping to ask ‘Alexa’ a question and/or to define a word in the newspaper.

These Echo Dots are awesome around the house. We purchased a few of them and have them placed around the house in various rooms. They are easy to set up, allow us to intercom between rooms if need be as well as ask it questions and listen to music.

This is way overhyped but don't get me wrong you want to hear a random song or know what the weather is or even set a timer this is perfect! Alexa doesn't listen very well she randomly starts talking and she doesn't understand the most basic things. If you have an accent don't even bother!
