It's a perfect garage helper. It helps me take notes of parts. I can set timers for certain things like powder coating. I can set a timer for in between coat times. And when I don't need help I can listen to music. And even lock the door so no one bothers me.

This device has completely transformed our home life. She has made it so convenient to interact with our electronic gadgets.. rather flipping a switch or pressing the remote control, we speak a command to get the same result. Thx Alexa.

I would not know what to do without this device. It controls everything in my smart home and also answers any questions I have. It is very responsive and the speaker is plenty loud for a room. I have an apartment and can talk to it in any of the other two rooms.

Great value for some real cool AI tech that truly does make life a bit more interesting around the home. I was skeptical but soon realized how usefu this gadget really is... ended up getting an echo show as well and would highly recommend it as wel!

A smart purchase if you're getting into smart home tech. Alexa is smart, fast and able to be placed anywhere. She even has games that you can enjoy (I find myself playing Jeopardy with Alexa!) The connection is fast and Alexa understands everything completely.

Good start to introducing Alexa into your home. Only recommended this 2nd generation if it is on sale or you are plugging it into an AVR. If looking for a stand alone speaker, upgrade to the 3rd generation echo dot for a few bucks more.

This is the cheaper version of the Amazon Echo or Amazon Tap, but it's seriously just as good. Just make sure you have a bluetooth speaker, or a speaker hooked up via the Aux cable, then you're all set! It's lightning quick, and easy to set up. Love this thing.

This is a smaller standalone version of the Amazon echo. You can do all the things the larger Alexa can do. They make great gifts and will fit right in in the kitchen or bedroom. It has a built-in speaker so you can use an external source for the one provided.

I have purchased the Amazon Alexa for my mother, mother in law and myself; we have 2 of them. These gadgets are the best thing since rice pudding. We enjoy Alexa and she is ready to assist at anytime. Everyone should get an Alexa.

It's a nice device. I can ask it questions and it gives me answers. It has light attached to it. I can turn off the light by asking Echo. Makes calls and lets me know if I missed anything on my phone. Only down part is that anyone can talk to it. Anyone can ask it to dial a number and it dials. It has to be like Google. Only my voice to dial/call someone.
