Like my title says, this little thing can do a lot. Including setting your thermostat (if compatible). Link your Amazon account to stream music, ask Alexa questions, tell her to flip a coin to decide if you're having pizza or Mexican for dinner. Alexa is great.

For the price, this is a good buy. Easy to set up and use.

My echo devices are making life a little more enjoyable & easier. She sets alarms for us, adds items on to do list, tells us the weather, plays games, turns our lights on/off & plays our favorite song lists! The audio quality is great.

You have to be geeking to love this type of technology (in my opinion). I love the product but use it with caution as just like any other technology can be hacked an overhear something you don’t want heard like social security numbers.

This unit is the previous Echo Dot version 2. It does everything the version 3 Echo Dot does but the volume doesn’t get loud enough to be used in a room as a speaker. But it works great in a tiny room like the bathroom. If you’re going to get a dot get the next version up .

I use this technology at work as well as at home now and find it very useful! We even added the thermostat to our addition. Now we can just as Alexa when we need certain questions answered or adjustments made to our home! We’re very happy with it!

The Echo Dot is a great little stand alone device from Amazon. Connecting a bluetooth speaker works the best, especially if listening to music. Only downside is you can't connect this one to another Echo or Dot. Other than that, this is a great little device.

I like how you can connect this to bluetooth and auxillary speakers. That gave an edge to google home. why am i giving it only 4 stars? because i have to tell alexa which music app should the music play even though i have defaulted spotify as the music player. annoying. but alexa is really a great assistant. i wish it could also massage my back.

This item was purchased for elderly relative who tends to fall frequently. We have 2 echo dots located in her home so she can ask “Alexa” to call a relative when she falls and needs help. This product has proven to be very useful!

Bought this for my daughters birthday and setup easily and works great.

This is the 2nd generation Echo. I did not realize that until I got it home. I did return it because I wanted the most current Echo at the time. But I do love these Echo Dots. The make my life easier!
