I got a second one so we could use them as a portable wireless intercom also. It's very handy having the weather, news and traffic information just a request away.

Perfect companion

I have a Dot in multiple rooms and can use them as an intercom when needing my children. Also allows me to access my hubs in each level of the house without having to purchase an echo for each level.

I have insomnia so I ask Alexa for sleep music or ocean waves and comes right on. Want temp? Just ask. Thai restaurant? Just ask. It's like having a music library in your room. A great value

It will answer a lot of your questions & update you on the latest news & weather. Plus you are able to play you're music on it and take it where ever you have wi-fi & you are able to plug it in!

Easy access to Echo/Alexa and home connections

We've renamed her Echo so our other girl doesn't respond to commands or inquiries meant for Dot. The speaker is weak but she's in a room that has good music so it's ok

It is a helper when I’m cooking, Alexa, how many tbs. in 1/4 cup. When it’s too quiet, Alexa play music. When I have to go somewhere, Alexa, how long will it take to get to.... WHAT A HELP!

Amazing and fun product!

Loved the app, very interesting to see what Alexa is asked when I'm not around....

We Love Echo!

This is our 2nd Echo and I bought it for my 10 yr old son, at his request. Connect it to our Smart Things Hub to control our home automation. Kids like to ask it questions, play music, and set alarms. Fun, fun, fun!!!
