Nice, but like the Echo

Both are great with the difference being the nice speaker in the Echo. If you are using the Dot for a room, such as a bedroom, the Dot is fine. I bought the Dot for my father who has difficulty hearing and the volume is not quite enough for him unless there is no other noise. Otherwise the Dot is just as good as the Echo.

I was undecided between this or the Google produc so I gave it a whirl and we love ALEXA !!

It was very easy to setup. The main reason I chose this was because of the speaker aux attachment availability. Very satisfied so far.

I am glad that you don't have to buy another whole unit to utilize the Alexa feature. You do have to push a button on the Dot unlike the Echo where all you have to do is say Alexa and it wakes the Echo up.

Everyone should buy an Alexa

My only con is that it doesn’t have that many celebrities for an alarm. It also doesn’t have Houston mix 95.5 to listen on the radio or as an alarm clock.

You can set an alarm to wake you. I’m sure there’s more to it, it’s just taking me longer to get it sorted out. So far I like it!
