I have been using this for quite a while. Is useful for news updates music and my son uses it for spelling and general knowledge question when doing homework. I added a bluetooth speaker and it works and sounds great.

Very simple to use. Easy set up, for all functions. Kids love it.

Have both Google Mini & Echo Dot. Based on my test, when you make a call from the speaker, call quality is better with Google. I had hard time hearing with Echo. Echo is able to make receive a call, Google only allows to broadcast. I prefer Google due to call quality. However, if you very tied to Amazon echo system, Echo is better.

The amazon dot has helped me further the automation of my home. It turns the lights on and off. Helps control my thermostat as well, I am.super excited to learn that it will be compatible with my appliances as well. Truly amazed by this product!

So i chose to purchase this instead of the $150 unit. The idea was to have multiple echo dots spread throughout my home so that whatever room im in i can control my house with the combination of these devices and the samsung smarthings hardware.

Works well for a small space, like an office or play area.

The Echo Dot is in our living room and I can hear the music playing clearly all the way to the back of the house. It sounds so clear. I also love the fact that it doesn't take up anymore space than a vase would.

Eyes are super blurry when I wake up in the morning...Alexa what time is it....never have to guess again. Also love having music in every room and sound quality is better than I expected. I have one in every room!

I have two Amazon Echo Dot's in my house and use it to connect my entire home. I love using Alexa to turn on and off lights and make sure the pets are okay. I listen to radio around the house as I'm doing chores and her skills are truly amazing!

Cheapest way to get a good smart home with Alexa. Within a month of buying a dot I bought 3, an echo show, and a echo big speaker because I was so impressed with the technology. With alexa skills you can do all sorts of random stuff.

Every home should have at least one. This is a device that keeps getting better. I can ask if my dog has been fed, check the weather, turn on lights and turn on my TV all from my voice. Almost all smart home products can be controlled with Alexa.
