I bought this on sale during Christmas. It's useful with giving weather updates and finding information. I'm going to but a second one for our downstairs and integrate it with our thermostat so we don't have to get up to change the temperature!

Love the dot! Use it to listen to music, set alarms, get the weather before getting dressed in the morning. Cant believe for $30 I didn't get one sooner. Hooked it up to computer speakers for more volume/bass when needed, LOVE IT!!!!

My favorite application for the echo is playing music. However the speaker on the unit is very poor so I now have a plug in speaker that although not great is completely satisfactory. Nice to call up any songs I want with just a voice command.

It is a convenient system to get information without typing.

Great item, affordable, and able to do a lot with device.

First one started having Bluetooth connection issues after a few days. Exchanged and got another...same problem within a few days. Went with direct connect between speaker and Echo Dot and works great. If you can deal with lack of Bluetooth, nice product. If not...problematic product.

we love this echo dot. We use it everyday, and i love that it connects to my phone and reminds me of my calendar events. Pretty loud speaker, I like asking alexa for recipes for dinner.

it work great, understand all command, very easily configured to my nest thermostat, control temperature using voice commands, also connect to my iphone and Bose Soundlink system, play my music on my iphone, also connect to Amazon prime and play all sorts of music, since it to connected my Bose system using Bluetooth I enjoy the music very much.

Ok, so the Echo Dot can pretty much do anything without having a computer on. Unfortunately, it does not do dishes (Yet!). I have it linked to some smart outlets in my home. Yes, it can make you lazy, but that's the whole idea.

My son loves to ask Alexa questions to get funny answers.

Nice to get weather. In the morning and other information

Thought I would make more use out of it but bought it to have for the future. Also bought smart plugs to use with Echo. Got them set up but it was VERY difficult. Alexa doesn't always get commands right but after a few tries she works. Her weather reports are rarely correct. Don't know where she gets them. But all in all I'm glad to have the product.

Is evolving getting used to her a bit she must remain plugged in if you lose power you have to reconnect her to the internet. Slightly confusing at first but once you hook her in you will understand how the system functions. Its a very specific system so you must learn the command properly or she has no clue what you are talking about.
