I purchased Echo Dot and liked it. It is fun to play with it.

The Echo Dot is a great way to listen to music, gather information, etc in the background while doing things around the home office or house in general. It is especially good for casual music browsing late at night when sleep is illusive.

Bought a new TV and sound bar system. Used this to replace my old receiver for radio station playback. Wirelessly connects to the sound bar and streams the stations from iHeart Radio and other free streaming services. Works great!

My Echo Dot works very good and I like the Emails I get occasionally that tell whats new with Alexa and all the things you can ask it. The volume at level 10 is not that loud compared to googles products which are much louder. They needed to put in a better speaker. Thats why I gave it 4 stars instead of five.

The Echo Dot is a very useful tool and convenient to have nearby for information or assistance. I have an Echo Show and a DOT in my home and I'm very satisfied, they both come in very handy at times. I brought this one as a gift.

If you have Amazon Prime, especially Prime Music, the Echo Dot is a nice little product. Some of the skills are impressive and useful, in particular being able to review your appointments for the day. It might be tough to remember the breadth of commands, so I'd think a lot of the features would go unused, but it's still a slick little gadget.

Really good voice recognition. My daughter loves this gadget.

This is just a nice little echo for the price. Sound is ok for voice (so use it for news, weather, etc.,) If you want to use it for music have realistic expectations or plug it into external speakers. The thing is the size of a hockey puck!

I have an Echo in the dining room where I spend a lot of time. I have a Dot on my nightstand and one in the living room hooked up to my receiver and surround sound. Absolutely love these for controlling lights, streaming music, timers, etc..

Bought this for my wife, and have been laughing ever since. I keep hearing her talking to Alexa. She now has someone to talk to whenever she likes. She finds that Alexa is great for keeping track of her shopping list and other to do lists.

I'm kind of late to the game. It works just as described but I'm still a bit freaked about amazon listening to everything that happens in my home. So, yes it's a good unit. Jury is out as to if I want it in my house.

My wife and I enjoy interacting with the Echo. It is very entertaining. We enjoy asking questions and getting the answer without having to research it, or get up. News, weather, music, just ask it's there. We love it.

It works well as an alarm clock. It does not compare to Google when asking it questions.

Mainly use with amazon music, and it works perfectly along with the battery so I can use in garage. Wifi connection setup is easy with the alexa app. I have tried using with harmony control and it works, but I just like my remote better.

I use my Echo Dots to turn lights on and off, set alarms and timers and many other tasks. It also tells jokes to my grandson. I purchased another Echo dot to take with me during my winter stay in Colombia. I get news from home as well as weather reports for both where I am and back home. I really like this device.

Love this! Use it every day or one task or another. Just wish it was as loud as the newer generations. Otherwise no ccomplaints. Its straight forward tech. Still finding new things that it does.

Got it on sale, handy for what we needed to use it for.
