It took us about 10 mins to setup the DOT and work very nicely! It is a great box for everything you want to know and listen, there are so much fun for everyone! We really like this Dot and regard we didn't get this earlier!

I have two of these in my house — one in the living room the other in my bedroom. I use them to control my lights and speakers mostly. They’re also great for traffic and weather. I bought several more as gifts for Christmas.

I already had an echo plus and got 2 echo dots for other rooms in the house. Super convenient for the whole family to listen to music, use as intercoms, set timers or alarms, dim lights, hear jokes, ask Alexa questions, etc.

I bought this as a gift for my mother for Christmas and she hooked it to her old 30 pin Bose speaker with an aux cable. Now she uses her speaker again!! It is amazing how quickly you begin to rely on GOOD voice activation. Lots of fun!

Bought this for the cabin but has a bit of connention problem at first. Overall good.

I received these as a gift. This order was to give as a gift. I love it. Only difference between this and the Echo is the speaker; if you’re not worried about audio quality this is a great choice. As with any tech, it takes time to get use to and has it’s unique oddities. Many skills for useful and pleasant experience!

I bought this to try out how the voice commands work. It was easy to set up, but some skills only work if you’re an Amazon Prime member. When it was on sale for $30 it wasn’t too expensive. I use it mostly to play games, check the weather, traffic or my calendar.

Easy to install and use. It makes automation easier.

Dot works great and is small so it can fit anywhere.

My son loves this device, he talks all days with it.

I bought this for my son who is a self proclaimed nerd! He thinks it's very cool. He plays music, asks questions and even asks Alexa to tell jokes! It's in our basement/laundry room so I mess around with it when I'm doing the laundry!!

Haven't had time to really get the full benefits of the dot but so far so good. I'm only giving 4 stars because of that and also being that I talked a friend into getting one and they had a heck of a time getting it connected. (It ended up being a setting in her phone). Anyway if nothing else its a fun devise just for entertainment.

I've been using my echo dot now for a few weeks I love it still learning what all Alexa does but she keeps me current on the weather, on time with the alarm clock and I love the continuous play of internet radio I use Alexa daily

The Amazon Echo Dot has been fun for everyone at home. From streaming music, to checking the weather, and all of the fun skills we have added we have gotten a lot out of Alexa already. Can't wait to link our smart home devices next!

Easy connect, beware if you use credit card to set up there is a $5.00 per month fee for using it. If you have little kids they can have alexia order things with out you knowing. Then Christmas comes in July lol.

Easy to use. Very helpful with the right applications.

Not a fan of Alexa just yet, but the sound is great.

Performs well at the functions that I bought it for.
