Love it Has great sound and it’s pretty much like a mini Alexa I got this one for my office so I can listen to some music

Hooked it up to my speakers and works great. Especially like the “start my day” with weather, traffic, and news summaries.

The echo dot, for us, is simply amazing you can ask for your calendar events for the day, weather etc...., you'll love it.

THis thing is great. Plays music, turns things on and off, sets reminders and alarms and all with the command of my voice!

This is a great product, my only complaint would be the sound quality but Amazon has figured that out by looking up with Sonos. So now I can interact with Alexa with great sound. Good work Amazon.

So I went to buy an echo dot to pair with my harmony hub and sadly no best buy near me had any of the 3rd generation dots in stock. So I had to pick up the 2nd generation dot. I read a bit about both dots and the differences and it seems the main improvement in the 3rd generation besides the look is the speaker. Other than that the 2nd gen dot still works well. I connected my 2nd gen dot to an external speaker which made it sound fantastic. The sound on the 2nd gen dot isn't that bad since it's in my room though I can see how in a living room the sound wouldn't be loud enough. Again with an external speaker this isn't an issue. I also like that this has 7 microphones to pick up speech instead of just 4 microphones on the 3rd gen dot. I also don't mind the look of the 2nd gen dot. Alexa works wonderfully with my harmony hub, it allows me to turn the tv on and off and change channels through voice commands. I also like getting weather updates and news updates as well. Overall it's a handy device that I don't know how I lived without before.

Love the echo for the bedroom. I use it to check the weather or put music to sleep by. Also set alarms for special wake up.

With my smart bulbs, Nest and access to iHeart Radio or Amazon Music, etc. it makes living in a smart home one step closer.

Bought this for my uncle who likes listening to music. This is the perfect device for him to ask for music on Pandora in the background, while he is working on assignments or just reading a book. Also its useful for him for other everyday necessities such as: setting an alarm, reminders, local weather, and random searches .

So far it’s been a great experience and the sound is wonderful and do so many different things after downloading the app.

Easy to set up and fun to use. Teenagers have fun using this, and it helps them keep up with their favorite sports teams.

Purchased as a gift for my daughter. She loves it! Has great voice recognition, range and sound. Might get one for myself.

Works great as a alarm clock, music doesn't sound bad, answers questions and tells bad jokes. Can get weather right away.

Love the echo dot.... what a great value! Alexa has become my own personal assistant,. Highly recommend adding one to your home and even work....great tool that really helps with reminders, alarms, playing music, news updates and just getting fun fact/information (i.e. triva, weather, traffic) and setting up automation within your home!

I love how easy it is to get information at a moment’s notice and it connects to all of my favorite apps for ease of use.

This is a good product. Bought one for my aunt who is legally blind and she is able to use to set timers for cooking, etc
