These devices are life changing. Works great with my Hue bridge. Better interaction than Siri. I want one in each room of my house when they can tell which room I'm in and continue playback as I move throughout the house.

Amazon, Kindle yes, but home gadget no one thought they would outshine themselves. I think this is one of the best gadget where you can shout and screen and still love it. I am still new to it so not yet fully used its feature but like it so far. i wish it had more choices on integration unless i am not yet aware of them.

We got this to expand coverage to the living room, we have the echo in the bedroom for the wonderful speakers. It works perfectly, the speakers are just a little tinny. If you want better sound, go with the echo

Have a full size Echo and enjoy it, bought this so I could connect to my bluetooth speaker bar for fuller sound. I have had several issues, most notably the Dot will spontaneously resume playing after I have told it to stop. This happens almost daily, I start listening to a playlist, stop the play to go outside and walk the dog, when I come back the Dot is playing again. No one is home to start it. The Alexa app shows no received voice commands. Seems to have something to do with the bluetooth connection. The Dot also seems more temperamental to its WiFi connection, have had to reset it several time (my full size Echo is rock solid). Still like it enough for 3 stars but Amazon has some debugging to do.

My family and I play games, listen to music and my lazy bones son even asked the time. I haven't let the cat outta the bag about ordering because I would have so many more amazon boxes than needed.

I didn't know much about the dot/echo but when a friend showed it to me, it seemed like a great gift for my husband who is hard to buy for. It's something you could live without but once you have it, you're so glad you do!

Overall the amazon dot has been a great addition to all the devices I have my home while also not taking up too much space. I love how you can ask questions to it and it responds right away without frequent errors.

Purchased for elderly relative and she absolutely loves it and think the size helped as she was worried about looking out of place. Enjoys playing music and has excellent volume.

I love this gadget. This thing is so much fun. What a great price also! She doesn't always have all the answers, but she has many and is real handy. There are some fun things in the future with smart appliances and Alexa.

This device continues to "get smarter" as you use it, learning your likes and dislikes, the way you say certain things, etc. It continues to amaze me with the things it can do. It's only limited by your own imagination!

We live our echo, we get the weather and always listen to music in the kitchen while cooking. The only thing is that you have to make sure it turns off cause it will record you with out you knowing.

I have her in 5 rooms in my home. Although they are supposed to hear you from the closest location- it isn't uncommon for 2 to set timers and go off simultaneously but not in sync. If you have music playing in the Living room and you want to turn down the volume say to answer your phone while you're in the bedroom- don't expect the one in the bedroom to turn the loud living room off when you ask her too and your. She constantly says unable to connect but if you ask her what time it is she reconnects. Not very reliable. There is a ton she can't answer compared to Google Home. Downside with Google home is it works with pretty much nothing right now. As soon as that changes I could see Google's voice technology taking over Alexa by leaps and bounds....but until they work with Wink and all the other home automation stuff I have I'll stick with Alexa. She isn't that bad but far from great.

I am a gadget girl and I love Alexa if you are just starting out this would be a great device for you I’m going to upgrade to a new one soon but I love using this device it’s SUPER helpful and Convenient

I now have both the 2nd and the 3rd generation. I don't notice a difference between them other than how they look. I enjoy my flash briefing every morning. I don't know how I lived without Alexa.

I purchased this Alexa to accent my dish network service. I have found it to be very interesting. I allow it to set appointments and to play music. I found it easier to change channels without moving from my chair.

You must have prime to get everything out of echo.

Love this. Have many smart devices installed and it works with almost all of them (wont close my garage door) only thing I wish is that Amazon and Apple music would play nicely but I guess that's just business.

this little Alexa does the same thing as the bigger one except the speakers are not as powerful but they still are good; If I were to buy another one I would buy another small one as I have the larger one also;
