Bought this for my 7 year old for Christmas. Her 13 year old sisters got phones, but she didn't seem to mind after playing with this. She can listen to her favorite songs, set her alarm, and even laugh at Alexa's jokes!!

Use mostly for music. Great source for information

I love it! I wanted the ECHO, but in my opinion wast too expensive, now with the DOT its perfect! just one night and I'm loving it.

This item was gifted as a white elephant gift, didn't realize it got to someone that was deep within the Amazon ecosystem. Helps them with all there smart home needs and kitchen/garage item needs.

This is the coolest device. No complaints. Must be tech savvy to install but overall awesome. Alexa even has a sense of humor! We will buy more and even devises to operate our TV, etc. Bought my parents one as well!

I purchased this Echo Dot, and found it to be a very nice device. Has a lot going for it for such a small device. I would certainly recommend this to my collogues. Nice price as well. 5 stars easy!

easy to use in kitchen, bedroom, living room etc.,

Having already had an Echo, I kinda knew what this product would be. Reason I got it was to remotely control my Philips Hue. Couldn't be more happier with this product! It's the product of the year for 2016 for a reason!

The echo dot is a great low profile gadget that does what it says it can. It is a clock, alarm, timer, radio, MP3 player, weather reporter and game player. You can also use it in conjunction with certain power outlets to turn your lights off and on. At $50 or less, it is very useful. I find it a very practical purchase.

Grandma scored! Grandkids are happy. My 6 oldest grandkids were very pleased with their tech packets they received for Christmas one of the three items included was an Echo Dot. They all love them!

Ok so I went on a echo buying frenzy! Two dots, echo, and the show. All linked together but in separate rooms. They make great intercoms via drop in. Buy a couple of these just for that. You won't be disappointed.

I already had the full size Echo downstairs. The Echo Dot was a nice addition. Its on my night stand and use it to check the weather every morning. The integration with my Sonos speaker is very useful as well.

Nice to have for sure, but slow to respond half the time. You have to say the wakeup prompt quite often even when its just 3 ft away and speaking clearly. All in all has been entertaining and helpful especially for the great sale price of 29.99.

My new friend Alexa is a joy to have around the house! She "plays well" with my WEMO and my Phillips HUE lighting system. Alexa also reads my Audible books to me as well as giving my the latest news, weather and sports.

I finally bought one after looking at reviews and it did not disappoint. Works as advertised. We use it to play music and make lists in the kitchen while cooking. The kids like the games that you can use it for as well.

I dont know what I would do with Alexa! Love this Echo Dot. I ended up getting an Echo too and connected them to my tv soundbar. Works great and music Sounds excellent

Got this as a last minute Christmas gift for the family as it was on sale for $29. Everybody loves it....Alexa answers your questions and can link it to your other smart devices. Great gadget for a low price!

With an Echo in our living room, it only made sense to get the dot in our bedroom. Now we can control our thermostat without even getting out of bed! In addition to the nearly unlimited other things we can do with it!
