Alexa is now my go to for music, weather and quick workouts! Just enabled the call feature. Loving the convenience of that as well. Fav skill is earthquakes. Because asking earthquakes "what's shaking?" Is fun. Lol

I was So excited about this product that I bought 3 more for friends and family. The last one was a little disappointing because everyone sold out so quickly I wasn’t able to get it in time for the holidays.

I purchased the dot to extend Alexa into some other parts of the house. In that aspect, it works great! One can’t expect much out of speaker / sound quality since it’s so much cheaper and smaller.

After buying one for myself and seeing how well it performed, it was put on my Christmas list for friends and family. We use it everyday to play music, control lights, and answer random questions. This thing is great!

Great value. No need to spend $179 for the launcher to go. I don't have 49 is a tremendous value and when connected to the Bluetooth speaker, you were home we noticed a difference between that and it's big brother

We had a single echo dot for a year and everyone kept fighting over it. So for Christmas decided everyone would get one. Have not figured out how to link them all together yet, but working on it.

it works as advertised. In fact loved it so much I returned it for the larger/full size Echo. Returned it because I decided I wanted the bigger speakers. The tiny speaker will work in low noise environments but do not expect to fully enjoy your music or audio books without attaching a external speaker of some sorts.

I PURCHASED THIS ECHO DOT FOR MY BFF DAUGHTER AND STILL HAVEN'T MADE MY WAY TO DELIVER. IT WAS MEANT TO BE A CHRISTMAS GIFT. LOOKS LIKE THIS WILL BE HER VALENTINE'S DAY GIFT. I KNOW SHE WILL ENJOY HAVING IT.

I was on the fence about buying an Alexa. Love it so much that this makes my third one. I can use them as intercom for my house. Bestbuy had a great sale of them. Love it !!!! Can’t go wrong with this item.

We bought these after we tried the Google system. They have their pluses and minuses but overall we prefer Alexa. The ability to use it as an intercom is what made us choose Alexa over google.

Got one for both kids, which they love. They enjoy their music on these and the alarm clock. I like being able to use it as an intercom when they are in their room, lot less yelling their name over and over.

The Echo Dot is fine , especially at the holiday prices but you can't install it in your car, as I was trying to do. Or rather, you can but it's problematic. The better option is to wait for the Echo Autio to come out this Spring.

I bought an Echo a while back and loved it so I bought two more Echo Dot as a gift to my college nieces who live in the Philippines. Their excitement as well as mine died when I found out Echo is not supported in the Philippines! Bummer! I wish there was a warning that says "Not Supported In Other Countries"!

Due to the children, lights get left on all the time when getting ready for bed. We have found it very convenient to ask Alexa to turn the light/s off downstairs instead of one of us going back down to turn them off.

We absolutely love these Echo Dots...from a cheerful good morning, shopping on Amazon, keeping multiple lists, reminding us of appointments and birthdays to providing lots of entertainment Alexa is great!

Love this!! Have 3 of them so far. They’ve held up very well and definitely make life a little easier! Wish they speakers would go louder but no other complaints

Overall, my favorite part of the echo is convenience. It's the easiest way for me to find out the weather, play some music, or set a timer or alarm. I believe it could be smarter, but overall it does enough for me,

Got this for my gadget-loving husband who is difficult to surprise. He spent a lot of time (which he loves) researching the "skills" Alexa has, and trying them out! This has been a great gift & a home run! .

This was purchased to be used mainly for its voice command functions and to listen to music in a small space. As expected, the speaker is not as good as the Echo. It would be better to catch the echo on sale and get a 2nd one for improved speaker output.

I have a total of three echos. It acts as an alarm clock, a timer, turns on and off lights and locks and unlocks doors. With the echo dot my my side I'm on my way to fully automating my house.
