We enjoy our echo dots but it seems that everything that connects to them lose there connection. I have a couple of plugs that control my lights and TV connected. I don't know if it's the router ( I upgraded and it still does it) Spectrum or Echo. I enjoy everything else though.

oh Alexa stop listening to me... JK. I like this unit and it has gotten better since I bought it since Amazon is updating the software regularly (the unit does it automatically when needed.

It's useful, but Alexa misses a lot. I try to add skills, but Alexa doesn't "understand" a lot of the time. It's easy to set up and is fun, but Alexa could be A LOT more useful. I know the Amazon folks are updating all the time, though, so, hopefully, it/she will be more useful in the future.

It is a great starter for building your own smart home. It has an audio out that you can use to connect it to an amp for better audio output.

This is great. Adds handsfree to so many things. Place a call, play Pandora/iHeartRadio, ask about the weather, and so many other things. If you have two, they can work as an intercom system.

I wanted to try the Echo and for the most part it works great. Love listening to music, checking the time, setting timers, asking questions. I have been having some problems lately connecting to the internet and I'm not sure what is causing the problem. Once I get that figured out, I'll be happy.

If you want an easy way to experience home digital assistants this is a great entry point. The speaker isn’t great, but it picks up my commands just as good as the other Alexa enabled devices.

I got this for me mainly because my grand kids were having so much fun with theirs! I really am enjoying the music, And if I need an answer to a question quick I ask Siri

Absolutely one of the coolest devices I've ever purchased for my home. Now, when i walk in to my large living room, I can just say "Alexa, turn on lights." and four lamps will come on at the same time.

I ordered on Black Weekend for $19.99 each. Great price and very good entry level product to get started. I found that it didn’t outperform my Braven BRV-1 in sound quality, but the sound quality was still very good. We decided to put these in the kids room and upgrade

I gave one to my 17 granddaughter and one to my 14 year old grandson and they both love them they play music ask questions and use them for alarm clocks. They think they’re great!

Does everything you ask her to do. You can program the echo dot to control your lighting from your cell . Very reliable, I'm happy with my purchase.

This was purchased as a gift for my niece. She loves how she can ask it many simple questions, and Alexa can answer. She is now using it for stories, jokes, and simple questions.

We already had one echo dot at home, so we added this one so the we could have one on the second floor and one on the main level. My wife and I love using these two as an intercom system.

This is a nice little addition to my home automation setup. I have it upstairs and it works just like the big Alexa just the sound is not as good. It integrated with all my stuff and "just works".

Alexa aka echo dot is awesome! She tells me everything I need to know! From jokes to the weather she does it all! Paired with some of the other devices in my home and she will even shut the lights off!

We use this for everything from maintaining grocery lists to telling jokes to giving weather to setting timers and running our smart home. This is our 3rd one in the house with absolutely no complaints.

We have 3 already and this one was purchased for my daughter for her dorm room. Unfortunately it doesn't work with the school's Wi-Fi but she is still excited to have it when she comes home!

I love being able to ask for weather while getting ready for work and being able to listen to music while doing my household chores. Easy enough for my non tech savvy boyfriend to use as well

How did I check the weather before Alexa? First one was a gift and have purchased four additional ones. I love they convenience of having a "smart friend" there when I need her. Great value.
