I boght this as a christmas gift for a friend and have received nothing but good remarks about it. I chose this over the google mini just because it had the aux cable port. Seems to work fine

I’ve purchased two of these as gifts. The most recent purchase was December of last year. I gave it to my dad as a Christmas gift, and he loves it! It has worked perfectly for him so far!

Alexa has been entertaining my guests and I as well as servicing various electrical items for the past year or so. I just had to buy 2 more as gifts for friends to use themselves!

After receiving an Echo Plus for my birthday, I purchased 4 Echo Dots for out house. 1 for each child. I also purchased a battery base so I can move the Echo Dot around easily. Great Product.

it's a simple concept, yet the most wonderful device ever. Just imagine, coming in the house, and just saying... "Alexa, play jazz music" and you now have non-stop jazz playing. or just say, "Alexa sing me a song" and she starts singing.... the device is intuitive and humorous at the same time.

Bought this during the recent sale. I found the speaker lacking but paired it with an inexpensive blue tooth speaker and it works awesome. I will be adding more of these to my home in the future.

Bought the Echo Show and the Dot to add on all my smart wifi appliances, wifi video doorbell, smart TV & sound bar, wifi smart lights, wifi smart thermostat, wifi security camera system and so on.

We have added several dots in rooms that are less used to provide intercom communication within our house. Alexa is a welcomed addition in any home and makes life easier all the way around!!

I purchased this at the recommendation of a friend. Now everyone in my house talks to Alexa! I would say, they should do more to bundle the various apps you will need to get the most bang from the tool!

Dis dot's da dandy device deal and works just the same and just as well as it's bigger, taller original Amazon Echo. So maybe the speaker isn't as fine but it's just right for my tin ears .

I bought the Echo Dot to use for turning on and off my bedroom light. It does that just fine, coupled with a smart switch. But it really is very entertaining on its own. I enjoy it so much that I bought another one. Only drawback is Alexis doesn’t always understand what I’m saying.

In general, we love the product. Family of 5 and we have multiple units. From time to time, the system disconnects (could be our wifi). Also once in a while we have Alexa providing spontaneous output. Small price to pay for an excellent tool. Will continue buying them as our needs expand.

The echo provides all the functions of the bigger alexa without a speaker but one is not nessary unless you want to listen to music. If this is the case a bluetooth speaker and be used or a plug type.

When you see the price difference between the DOT and the Echo it is a no brainer when adding a new location for Alexa. Unless you just really need a battery or bigger speaker, this is a great value!

Huge difference from 1st gen... faster and easier to connect right out of the box - recognized our WiFi and rapidly connected to start streaming our favorite music or asking questions...

Had a minor problem with the Echo Plus, did not work the following day, went back to Best Buy and they gave me another one without any problem. Thanks Best Buy. Real happy with both of them.

Since I have gotten Echo Dot as a gift I love it. sitting around with friends we can throw out obscure songs and Alexa will find them. I have also given her several skills that are very entertaining.

I love to have a personal assistence beyond my phone, at home it's the last device I use right after jumping in the bed, and the first I use in the morning. I give it 4 stars just because I would like to syncronize the audio between my devices and it is not posible (yet ... hopefully one day)

no household should be without at least one of these. you can literally get answers in a few seconds without looking for the proper book. toss the alarms and timers, cd players.
