I didn't believe I'd use the dot as much as I do. Setting a timer for cooking. Checking the temp. Connecting to our radio. This is the best feature as it makes the chromcast audio obsolete. Great deal.

Bought for my wife and she loves it. Does everything as advertised. The only reason I rated 4stars is due to app add on quality and voice recognition glitching occasionally. Awesome for cooking, information and daily updates. Too expensive to fit house with Bluetooth components to get full use.

One of those items you never realized you needed until you got one. Rapid setup and responds well to commands.

It’s amazing how fast Alexa can answer my questions. Have her controlling smart devices and creating routines to execute in certain situations. What amazing is how fast this little hockey puck is. Runs circles around Siri. Disappointing as I’m a Apple fan.

Everyone needs to be able to talk out loud and have someone respond! My kids enjoy using these and we bought several for gifts. As long as Big Brother isn't using them and collecting data, I am ok. :)

very cool "toy", that is a bad description but it is something you can live without. Find one on a sale and get it to try out. syncs with your prime account and is pretty neat in what it can do.

I have the full size echo and this is a great addition to add to another part of my home. I use it to control some of my Wemo switches the are beyond the reach of my full size echo. Highly recommend.

We added a dot for each of the bedrooms to go along with our Echo in the living room. Great to be able to "drop in" on the kids instead of yelling from downstairs when we need them to come down.

We got this item to pair with our Echo. It works well on its own as well as syncing with the main unit for household music. We are still learning some of the skills but the device is great.

Good but newer generations are obviously better than this use. I like the newer generations as the speakers are louder and this one is not loud enough. But it is good enough and decent for me so it was a good purchase.

The second-gen, mini-size Amazon Echo Dot smart speaker is just as smart as the full-size Echo at half the cost. It boasts more skills and third-party integrations than its rival but the sounds could be better...

I purchased for my family, they absolutely love them! Can wake kids up in morning even when I’m at work. Ask about weather, movies,etc. Lots of entertainment with music. Can’t say enough.

I control my Hue Philips lights and Logitech remote control devices. Works really well. There are a ton of skills that the unit can learn. My only gripe is that you have to remember the specific commands based on each app in order to use them. I think it has great potential for the future.

Bought this as a gift my Dad who already has the Echo. But wanted access to Alexa at other locations. At first I thought you had to have the Echo to add the Dot....but the Dots' can run Alexa by themselves without having to have an Echo. He likes being able to access Alexa everywhere.

I have them in my kitchen, dining, living room, and lanai. No matter where I’m at, when I need to access my shopping list, I can do it. It makes shopping so much simpler.

Love being able to turn music, lights, and alarms on and off without touching anything. Great in the kitchen when your hands are dirty or after you've climbed into bed and don't want to get back up.

I love my echo. It answers me everytime I ask a question. It gives great answers. I recommend the product to anyone. You can ask it anything. It's handy when your phone is not in the same room as you.

I bought this one because it has an external speaker jack and connected it to my stereo. Works fantastic. You gotta pay for a music subscription if you really want to get all the music you want, otherwise you get samples.

I thought my family would get better use out of this product. We hardly use it. It could be entertaining if we remember it’s around. Sometimes she thinks we are calling her and we are not lol. When we speak to her sometimes she does t understand what we are saying

I use this everyday to listen to my Spotify playlists. I have it paired with 2 Bose color ll speakers in stereo mode and the sound is great. I also enjoy getting sports scores instantly.
