I added this to my upstairs area since I have an echo downstairs working with a Phillips hue hub, it connects as well and controls the same lighting the downstairs echo does, nice extension.

Amazon Echo is great because it is always learning more skills. I love the ability to call people and send messages without having to pick up the phone or turn on a computer.

On a One-Day deal from Best Buy, I bought an Echo Dot and wemo smart plug. They work really well together. Am buying another Dot for my spouse's office and more mini wife smart plugs.

This is literally the exact sane product as the amazon echo which costs about 4 times as much. You just need your own speaker and you're set! It can even control your smart home. Love it!

Amazon hasn't yet perfected the voice commands and it becomes frustrating when you find yourself repeating commands over and over again. All in all I enjoy the convieneces. Concerned with privacy and I'm monitoring what and when this device records. I have owned for about 6 weeks.

It has really changed my music consumption in the home. By having no barrier to so many platforms the amount of music, podcast, and news my family listens to has increased substantially.

I haven't mastered this little device, but I can tell you Alexa will wake you up in the morning, tell you the current and forecast weather, etc. I have a lot to learn, but I think it will be worth it.

This is our 3rd one put this one in the bedroom. You can use this for everything. We lock the doors adjust the thermostat and have 3 lights we can run with it.

I purchased this as a gift. My cousin loves it. When they first opened, my cousins fiancee joked about controlling the lights, so I also got them two smart plugs for the lights!

Bought it for my mother. She's technologically challenged but she loves it and has no problem using it. She's added smart bulbs and cameras that she controls with it.

The Echo Dot came as a gift with the Ring Doorbell. I would be disappointed if I had paid for it. For a freebie it's ok. If you are an Amazon prime member, then you are in business. Otherwise most others things you want it to do will cost you.

Fun to have Echo to entertain me. She gives weather reports and will set a timer. Big plus she can contact help with the My Buddy app. I have two of them....one on each floor of my house.

I have found this to be useful for spelling words and telling me the weather. These things are all options from Siri though so it's kinda redundant. Good for when the kids need those options since they don't have an iPhone.

The dot is hot! It provides company (really bad jokes), information, music, and things I have yet to discover. Needs supplemental speakers to take best advantage of the musical offerings.

Wife loved it at the beginning but wasn't too keen on the idea about listening in the background. Sometimes when asking it questions she would seem to not understand what we would ask. Loved the alarm feature for waking up.

I have two of these one in my room and other in the living room they are great for using them to turn lights on and off when you don't want to get up. Also good for many other things too.

This is a great add on to our already Echo Plus. Every room now has an Echo Dot. Intercom. Multiple room music, alarms, etc. The family loves the Echo network and add on devices.

This a great little device. It has a ton of potential. You can connect it to most smart devices. I linked mine up with my receiver. I also bought 3 more as Christmas gifts for my siblings.
