All the power of Echo and only a third the cost! Has some difficulty hearing questions if there is a lot of background noise and/or if there's too much noise, but that's to be expected.

Smaller than the bigger each, yet just as useful. Makes a great alarm clock as well as handy to update you on weather, sports, and all other subjects you may want to ask Alexa.

First let me say I have no issue with the speaker not being the best as that was expected since I didn't buy the Echo. The reason I didn't give this 5 starts is because it is still limited, one of the best on the market but not for long, I may switch to the Google Home as it can play the same music on multiple speakers throughout the house and integrates with Smartthings which is what everything in my house communicates through anyway. It is nice but still has quite a quite of improvement before I would recommend buying more than one to play with, also there are some names it has a difficult time understanding such as Alisha, it says it does't A lisa's lamp as a device when I named a lamp Alisha's Lamp. I can't rate the shopping as I don't have that turned on.

I wish that I was able to get 3 of them. Alexa is a cool product that will only get better with time. It is really a time saver although I wish that some tasks were more intuitive.

I don't know how I ever lived without Alexa in my home. I use it every day. She can turn on and off my lights, give me a tech update, set a timer for me... Love you, Alexa!

I have a Amazon Echo in the living room and Echo dots in the bedroom, office and bathroom. I can command Alexa from any part of my apartment to answer questions or turn lights on or off.

After having our Dot for a few months, it’s hard to remember what life was like without it. We use it daily, and was a fairly inexpensive first step towards home automation. Not sensitive enough for our 2 story loft though, but 2 work great in the space we’re in!

A great pairing device for the main up. I set this up the master bedroom and use it to call my wife when dinner is ready.....Definitely make sure it is hooked up to solid speakers.

Bought 3 of these for our house. Everyone was so impressed they all got their own. If you have a Prime account then you're totally set as a music player. Connects to other devices easily.

i love my echo dot. I use it for pandora and to talk to it to turn my lights on and off. The light switches was separate but works well with this small echo.

Nice not to have to remember to set Alarm or if u wonder what the weather is just ask Alexa. She has all these skills u can add and u can ask her most things and she has the anwser

We loved our dot so much we wanted one in each of the rooms! So we connected them all and can choose whether we want then to play everywhere or just one room or two!

Good addition to Amazon Echo (would work great also standalone). Added it to expand the capability to second room. Works great. Like the Line out option to connect to an external speaker.

They love them they all choose different music and ask Alexa a lot of guestions and love getting answers. They use them as a alarm clock an excellent choice at this time

The Echo Dot is perfect if you have a speaker system or stereo to hook it up to. Very useful for playing music, asking for information, or anything else you can imagine!

Has done everything I expected except that it did not hook bluetooth wise with another speaker. The volume when playing music was not the greatest either, which is why I wanted to hook it to another speaker. The quality of the sound for music is just okay, but what I expected.

I nabbed this for my parents. They love it. It works well for a music box and is a glorified TV remote. This coupled with a TP-Link makes for a voice remote. Take that Comcast!

It works, but the sound quality is nowhere near as good as the full-sized Echo. If you plan on listening to much music through it I feel the taller Echo is better (understandably, with more room for better speakers).

I have an Amazon Echo and four Echo Dots. I like to be able to ask questions or add to my shopping list in any part of the house. The Dot makes that possible.
