Got this for a gift for my dad for Christmas. My mom just recently came down with an illness leaving her home all day. She is able to use it to keep her busy/informed. Great product!

Bought this for my teenage son, great for answering questions and listening to his library. Looking forward to using it for home automation stuff. Also links up with our Amazon Echo.

Amazon Dot is our next addition to our ability to turn the TV on and off, as well as ask questions. Everyone should have one, if they are considering automating their home.

We bought a Xmas gift Alexa for ourselves and love it so much, we gave one as a birthday gift. The skills (apps) are free and growing all the time, so lots of things to choose from

I purchased both Alexa and Google home since I wondered which one was the best for my home. Now after plenty of use and trial period I feel Alexa is better than Google home at this time. I love all the fun, entertaining and useful skills that are available!

Bought the dot to power my harmony hub so we could have alexa turn on the projector, audio system, and other components. It learned quickly and interfaces nicely with the hub just has some false positives, like it answers to Alaska as well. Especially with kids.

better than buying the other Alexas would recommend

Amazon's Alexa is a great addition to the home. I mainly use it for setting alerts and asking it to tell me jokes. It can do a lot more, but these two features are my main uses.

Bought an echo dot for my home last Christmas. The family loved it! I decided to purchase one for my in-laws, and now my kids and their grandparents can chat all the time!

I have an Alexa for the house and love it. Got the Dot for the garage, but to hook it to an older Kenwood received via the 3.5 output and into an RCA input on the receiver. Functionally it is great just like Alexa, but the sound is not as good as I would have hoped.

I really like this product, I am hopeful that it will continue to evolve and there more features will be added. Would love it even more if can also function as a smart home hub as well. Right now I have paired with a Samsung smarthings hub and the integration works well

Unlike the more expensive Echos with built-in speakers, the dot can be plugged into or wirelessly connected to real speakers! Awesome if you are an Amazon Prime member.

Gave this to my mom for mothers day to start her smart home setup. SHe loves it! She loves that she can leave messages for her grand kids to listen to on our echo at home as well

I have enjoyed using my Echo dot so far. It is great bringing up the radio station or song I want or playing some of the trivia games. I have not had it long enough to probably utilize all of its functionality, but so far, it has been a great little device.

This is christmas gift for my sibling everybody been talking about how good this device is. I cant wait for them to try it out!! I have heard some good feedback

Daughter talks to this all the time and loves it..

My gf now has one in every room, wow!!! It was a random gift and she loves it. She uses it for work too. She absolutely loves it. She even bought one for her 9 yr old son.

The echo dot works great with smart home devices. We have several dots throughout the house. Also it's very easy to set up with a blue-tooth speaker and blends in with the decor.

My grandson bought this for me for Christmas. We will wait and see. I am hesitant to have something "listening in". It is interesting. I have not bought anything unwanted as of yet.
