I have both the Dot and the Echo Plus. They both were very easy to set up. The Dot doesn't have as good a quality speaker as the Plus. I am very satisfied with the Dot.

Purchased this on bestbuy.com as it was the same price as Amazon.com and I got the points through Best Buy. Came quick, was packaged well. No problems at all.

I have one Amazon Echo and 2 Echo Dots - I love these because I like music all the time whichever room I'm in. Plus, it's great having something actually do what you tell it to.

Bought for my 4 yr old and he loves it. Lots of activities you can do on it. He loves that he can call us from it and play Michael Jackson songs. It keeps him occupied.

I have several Alexa devices... this particular one sits on the headboard of my bed and serves as my alarm clock, a thermometer/weather station, and best of all, it can play a variety of ambient sounds to help a person fall asleep.

I loved the idea of the echo dot being a friendly personal assistant and someone to chat with so I got them for several of my friends! They have so much fun talking to Alexa too.

I have a Dot and it does everything the Echo does. Audio fidelity is nowhere as good as the Echo. I wouldn't listen to music on the Dot but it's great for audio books and regular vocal interaction. Grab the Dot on sale for ancillary rooms and locations.

Blows Siri away! I bought 10 of these, several for gifts. 2 were for a relative who just had major surgery, so she’s immobile for a while. Also using it for her speech.

I wish I had more smart home items to make it more useful but I love the drop in feature for communicating with my son when he's in the basement on the Xbox.

The dot is so fun! There are so many skills you can enable on this little device! Streaming Pandora, and Amazon Unlimited music is great! Bluetooth setup is very simple. Love it!

I own the Echo, and decided to get this for my nephew, loves it and it has become an integral part of our lives now, from asking it for weather data to timings of various things.

Love the assistance and all the things it offers to connect. Especially with the lights and thermostat. Connection to music is great for on the spot entertainment.

I am really enjoying my amazon dot named Alexa I am amazed at some of her answers. I also enjoy her corny jokes and the bitt of info she gives after you wish her "good morning "

I have an Amazon Echo for the house and bought the Dot for the office. It works great, provides me with all the access I need and connects easily with blue tooth speakers.

Great for upgrading a main Echo to all rooms of the house at a low price. The only con is the speaker quality. Easy connectivity to an external speaker to improve sound quality

I talk to my Echo Dot daily and she responds immediately. I use her a lot for kitchen timer as my hearing is compromised and can't hear the stove timer. Everyone needs an Echo.

Love having my Alexa around. She is so intelligent. Sometimes I wonder if she's automated at all. In any case, any question you have the can answer. Highly recommend.
