Got this to give at Christmas. It ended up in their kitchen and plays music, times the cooking, sports scores, and whatever they wish to ask it. An enjoyable addition!

I got this for my mother-in-law and she absolutely loved it. She uses it to help set reminders throughout the day and control lights and plugs with Alexa.

So far better than google home in understanding home automation commands like turning off WeMo Light Bulbs Better for music too especially if you're an Amazon Prime Member

I did the trifecta, I bought the ECHO, then the DOT ,then the TAP, a very nice technology product that keeps improving. The more you use them, the more you find ways to use them.

We mainly use Alexa for music but love using it for finding out weather and other interesting facts that we may want to know at the moment. She is 95% accurate most of the time.

I have Google home and 3 dots. I use them daily for more then I ever thought possible. Each system has their own ups and downs, but fir the price is well worth getting a few

I bought this as a gift for my grandparents and at first they were hesitant but they really grew to like it. They love showing off all of the skills it has.

The setup was super easy. Echo Dot is great for simple tasks like weather, timers, and answering questions. My most used function is streaming music through a Bluetooth speaker.

We have gotten very used to her help! Asking the weather, adding stuff to our calendar and shopping list, telling us the time when our hands are full.

At this price, we've added these to several rooms in our house. The added convenience is really nice. The home automation and management increases are well-worth the low cost.

Works as stated, but you will spend more $$$ to use the home automation functions, most skills have to be linked to other apps to function, depends upon how much you want amazon or google to know,if you know what I mean. For the cost, not bad and im happy with it.

Alexa is phenomenal! What separates Echo Dot 2 from Google Home is the Bluetooth capability. With Amazon Music Prime and wireless headphones and speakers, the sky is the limit.

I use these in addition to a larger Alexa unit. Decent sound but nothing like the big one. Love that it connects to my stereo for whole home audio. Gave it a 4 because it frequently gets disconnected from the WiFi for no apparent reason.

It is so much fun to play with. It connected easily to my Smart Thermostat and Smart Plug. Now I just tell Alexa to turn them on or off. Going to get some more Smart Plugs.

Wasn't sure about getting the Echo dot as this was a gift for someone else. Now I have both the Dot and Alexa. Very useful and haven't even explored the many options available.
