This is quite simply a great product. I had an Amazon Echo, and purchased the second Dot for my bedroom. Used the auxiliary port to connect it to a freestanding speaker.

I bought this to try out having a smart home setup and I have to say I really enjoy using the echo dot instead of spending more money on a bigger smart home speaker.

This is equally as good as the google mini it depends on which platform you use most. Enjoy the Amazon ordering function as seen by all the boxes at our front doorstep daily. Speaker isn’t as good as google but not a deal breaker.

I enjoy keeping up with my schedule and being able to add appointments to my gmail calendar. Also with added Amazon unlimited music you can play almost any song you want.

I wanted to try the Alexa app and decided to go with the cheaper dot Century quite loud for a small size so I'd be interested to find out how loud the full-size Alexa is

The Dot is pretty fair value. I placed it in the kitchen and use it most often as a cooking timer and for iHeart radio. You really can't go wrong for the price.

We already have a Dot like this. We love these "User Friendly" & Excellent Performance Devices. So we Purchased these for Christmas Gifts, for others, so they to can enjoy. It has many uses other that just musical entertainment.

The Echo dot is the best all around device that replaces many household items. 1 - Stereo with personalized playlists, 2 - Alarm clock, 3 - Timer, 4 - Game library, 5 - Smart Home Adapter. What else can do all these things for less than $40.

I like this amazing little device just say it and everything will happen. Where to eat, how to go , your music etc. Don't forget to buy the lamps to have a modern room.

To be honest I don’t know anything about the dot. It’s in a drawer. I bought it for a Christmas gift. The person it was bought for did not show up on Christmas.

I love the Amazon Echo Dot. It’s convenient and easy to set up. I use I for every day purposes. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to simplify their life.

Can't seem to get my music on my fire tablet to play and save on echo Music only can run as a sample unless you buy some Finding a list of the skills you have obtained does not exist I think asking the tablet or the echo to print or recite would help

We absolutely love our Echo Dot. I received as a Christmas gift and my family went out to buy one. Lots of options on how to use it. It was worth the purchase!

We now have 3 of these. One on the patio, one in the bedroom that also controls the lights in there and one in the garage so she can talk to me from the house!

Got this for my mom for Christmas. She has gone from having no idea what to do with it. Now she is constantly asking questions and asking for music.

Alexa gives the family plenty of info and enjoyment with her search and music features. We have yet to use her smart home connections but plan to in the future.

Does everything that the Tap and full-size echo do at a much lower price. You won't have the same size speaker form the echo but it is definitely capable for room use.

Purchased an Amazon Alexa when they were available for PRIME members and couldn't wait for the DOT to come out. Kids love the voice commands and homework help is awesome.

I have to admit that it was the best purchased I have made so far at best buy, I live alone and having Alexa in my house is like having some excellent company.

I love my echo dot. Works great with Amazon music, Prime, iheartradio, ect. Working on programming it to work directv and Vizio TV(a little work for that). Only issue is that she doesnt always understand you and some random commands come out. Overall 8/10
