I was hesitant on getting a device litke this, however, I was curious. I am surprised and satisfied with the functionality and ease of use of my dot. I just linked my Bluetooth speaker and I can play my favorate music. Of course, Alexa does more than that. The price is fair to low.

This little thing is incredible. It can hear you from a long ways away. It understands almost everything that you say. It works a lot better than Google has for me in the past. The voice recognition blows Apple Siri out of the water! Easy to set up and just leave it from then on.

This small relatively inexpensive piece of equipment is wonderful for my grandson. He uses it for turning on the tv and accompanying x-box. It is easy to use and. He likes the way he can play music and game challenges and play music that he wants. A great value for an accessory.

Amazon echo dot works flawlessly with the TP-Link smart plugs! I use them in room with floor lamps and then just ask alexa to turn on when walking in. Much better than fumbling around in the dark trying to find the knob to turn on the light. Highly recommended for both products.

Bought one for everyone in my family to include siblings, kids and grandkids. They are all enjoying. The grandkids set up with their kindle All crawl into bed and she reads them their book. Not to replace Mom or dad, but fun. Music is great, alarms, reminders, sleeping music!

Easy to setup, answers many questions, plays music free from pandora Spells words, gives word definitions, wikipedia people or things from the internet. A Great learning tool for all ages. Add stuff to your shopping list or todo list by just your voice. Even control lights and small appliances by voice. Example: Alexa wake me at 6:30 am and bingo she sets an alarm, or Alexa set a timer for 12 minutes, bam she does it. No egg timer needed. In short Its a great little gizmo and at a very reasonable price they are flying off the shelves so get yours quik. I've got one in the bedroom and one in the kitchen, its just so handy to have around.

Got 2 of these little guys! One for me and the other for mom. I needed something to put in room so I wouldn't have to get up and yell from the bedroom to the big device. Works extremely well, and I am surprised by the sound! Pretty good sound from it. Very easy to set up.

I really like these for rooms with a Bluetooth speaker separate. Functions fine without another speaker, but not as good sound. These dots are so versatile from intercom systems to multimedia devices. Pair them with your favorite Bluetooth speakers for a great experience.

I just cannot get enough of these Dots. and for the one day sale of 39.99 i had to pick one up for my four year old daughters room. She just loves to talk to the dot and have fun with it for hours. She just loves to ask Alexis to tell her a joke. I also have the Dot integrated with my Harmony hub to control my entire home theater and to my Philips Hue light bulbs and my ecobee thermostat 4 for home automation for full voice control of the house. I just lovr how i can lay in bed and ask alexa to change the temp on my AC/Heat or to turn on or off the bathroom lights for my kids at night. I also have it link to my drone Mobile account so I can have it unlock my car doors( and hopefully soon use the remote start feature) I am able to lock and unlock my doors with my August Smart Lock with my Echo dot. It just does so much I can't imagine going back to life before my echo dot I just love it and would highly recommend it.

There just isn't enough space to describe how much use I get with Alexa. Just recently added my living room lights controlled by Alexa .I can set a timer while cooking, convert metric to American, get the weather and distances to anywhere. Almost any song can be played.

This is a good hands free device to control few things and set reminders or listen music by just saying few words. I bought one last year and one this year for different room. Its really help to set alarm and in the morning to stop without moving hand here and there.

This inexpensive item will bring you up to date on advancements in voice recognition, conversational English and ease of use. Calling up a recipe while cooking in the kitchen, controlling your smart home and getting information quickly without typing a word is awesome.

I have three Echo Dots in various rooms of my house. Best thing about them is you can hook them up to your existing sound system and not only stream music from various Internet sources, but also from your own Blue Tooth Devices. They also control my lights and a few T-Link switches I bought for other things like Cheap Rope Lights and an Attic Fan. Now I'm experimenting with making phone calls and they work Great! It's nice to be able to control music, phone calls, and lights when you're hands are full of something in the kitchen. And News Briefings and Weather. Lets not forget those.

Who knew I couldn’t live without it?? I love this device. I just set it up so I don’t yet know all it can do but it sure can play music. It can sync with other Bluetooth devices for even better speaker quality. If you want to hear a song again tell her to play it again. It’s so nice. If you tell he to play song or radio from Spotify or Pandora, shes on it. She looks things up for you. If you have prime, you automatically get Amazon Music for free. I love this little device. I will further explore what she can do. We also bought special bulbs so she can turn the lights on and off. We have not installed the bulbs but will be doing so tomorrow. Her voice is clear and she can understand mine from far away. The echo dot can also tell who (for example, you or your spouse) is talking. It can also control your TV if you have a fire stick. All in all, its pretty allsome. And at this price, you wont regret it.

This little jewell is my new bedside helper. It plays my ocean sounds to put me to sleep and walks me up each morning at the designated time I give it the night before. No need for an alarm clock on the dresser when you can have the DOT with much more functionality.

This gadget turns on my lights, plays music, gives me the top news stories, tells me the whether, sets alarms and ALL on demand via my verbal commands. Highly recommended.

Got one for the kitchen and one for the man cave. Love being able to play music, get info about the weather, control my Phillips Hue lights, Roomba, Nest Thermostats, ADT Pulse, Flex Washer and Dryer and RingProducts. This is a must-have for creating a Smart Home!

I got this one for my bedroom. It is awesome. I got another one for my office and I plan on getting a third one for the living room. If you want a digital assistant to take care of things like the Hue lights or to listen to music, this is really a fantastic product.

I bought this as a gift for my teen son. He has been very pleased with the echo dot. He uses it for his alarm clock, weather center, music and book player, and is planning to add accessories to control things in his room. Overall I am pleased with the purchase.
