The Dot is a good option compared to full sized Echo. I have both and find the larger used as a Bluetooth speaker.

Great for small games and weather updates. Answers pretty much every question we ask it.

I love this thing! My wife and I live in a condo thats not to big so its perfect, we live it in the living room, and when we wake up in the morning we'll play music , and ask what the days weather will be, amongst many other things. Defenitely recommend this product.

I love this lil thing...it’s not extremely loud but it does the job and I love that I can program it to turn on at a certain time. The app is another plus it’s very easy to use and you can actually change songs thru the app not like google assistant

I have 3 Echo dots and an Echo to control switches and dimmers in my home. Alexa's skills are amazing– I set lighting brightness and control other things easily with the Echoes. I can converse with Alexa everywhere i my home. The Echo Dot pricing makes adding another painless.

I have two echo dots and have given multiple to family members as gifts. I use it primarily for voice control of my Lowe's IRIS smart home system. Works wonderfully for controlling lights and thermostat. Learn new commands that the Echo can accept all the time, it's a lot of fun.

Works well with my iPhone. Set ups a little tricky but once your all set it’s kinda fun.

Decent sound quality for a tiny speaker, able to hear from across the room. Works well once setup, but there is a learning curve for commands and skills.

I highly recommend this to anyone who Was thinking about getting something that works with Your WiFi and smart home or smart phone too. We love that we can ask Alexa to notify our child to come upstairs from anywhere in the house. It does almost anything you can ask.

This is an amazing product! Thousand of skills! Makes my home super smart, you can control your lights, door, tv, even your security camera! The product was so small but it has a powerful speaker. Even you are feet away from the device still it will response to you.

The echo dot is extremely useful for the price tag. I use it to operate many smart home devices, play music, and alarm on a daily basis with zero issues.

I would like to give a testimonial about this product my sisters and I purchased the echo Dot for my mother for Christmas who is handicapped. She stays at home by herself most days and has limited access to what she can do do to being legally blind and having a neurological disorder. Now she is able to do so many things for herself that she was unable to do for many many years. A few days after Christmas I walked over to her house in the morning to help her out and I could hear music playing and then I hear her yell out Alexa thumbs down that song. I laughed because she was upstairs laying in bed listening to music she said she'd been listening all morning and it made her so happy. This has really been a life-changing gift. Before this she was unable to turn on the TV herself or turn on her music and had a hard time with her tablet turning her audible books on now all she has to do is speak to Alexa and it has opened a whole new world for her

I already had the show and echo and wanted the dot for the bedroom, as I already had a UE Boom Speaker in there that I could pair the Dot with - which helped me save money in purchasing the Dot instead of the Echo - as I didn't need the screen of the show in the bedroom.
