Both of my children wanted an Alexa for Christmas. This is perfect and reasonable.

Great Christmas gift and cheap enough to order one for every member of the family.

It's very easy to set up and friendly to use, the connection with the wifi is fast.

This device is not only fun to use but functional as well. I use it as a timer and also to play music (although the sound is not the best for this model). My kids love asking it questions and having the interaction. The only downside I see is that it refers to Wikipedia for many of it's answers and Wikipedia is not academically recognized as authoritative and accurate. But it's a lot of fun!

I love this Echo Dot! I never knew how much it could do. Would recommend this item.

What a great time saver!! Don't have to go online or even turn radio on to check weather in morning. Just ask Alexa and almost instantly she will tell you. Very easy to hook up to your wifi network. Spotify account? No problem there either. Alexa is polite at telling you she doesn't know the answer which at times seems like a lot but I'm sure will get better with time. Great device.

I bought the Amazon Echo Dot to integrate with a Sonos whole home audio setup. So far everything is working well. I can tell Alexa from my bedroom to play music in my family room and she makes it happen. A simple Google search can help you with Alexa commands that work with Sonos and music services such as Pandora and Spotify. Note: Spotify requires a premium subscription to work with Sonos.

I love my Echo dot; it works as advertised. I rarely need to re-state any command.

Easy to install. Never any interruptions in service unless a weather disaster affects our internet, even still Echo willets is know she is not connected. She learns your voice & can tailor the information she gives specifically for you.

Purchased this to expand my Alexa coverage in house. It is a great addition to my Echo. I now use Alexa to control my lights, distribute music throughout my house via my Sonos speakers, control my security system. A great experience with the automated home.

Got one for my parents. They were unsure at first but love how easy it was to use!

Took a chance and bought one since we are now trying to control more things with smart products. I also bought some TP-Link outlets so that my wife doesn't have to get out of bed to turn off the light after our daughter's story time. It's really motivated me to get other smart products such as the Philips hue bulbs and motion sensors. I ended up buying another 3 more of them to place them all over the house. Functioning as a bluetooth speaker they aren't too shabby. They aren't going to blow out windows but if you're looking for ambient music then it does the job. Voice recognition is right on par with with the larger Echo. The downside is that the Echo isn't as smooth with recognizing natural speech as the Google Home so therefore your commands have to be very specific. However the one upside with any echo product is that they have bluetooth capability to stream music from another device which Google Home can't do.
