So far this has been an okay purchase. For its price it's good. We use it to control our Philips Hue bulbs. Alexa cannot tell us what the expected wind speeds are the next day and sometimes she says she cannot turn the lights off, but she can.

Alexa is awesome, She will keep me up to date with traffic, weather, and my stocks. I will get more for different rooms in my home.

I bought an Echo Dot as my son’s birthday gift one month ago and I am so glad that I did. My son loves it very much. Echo Dot is a hands-free, voice-controlled smart home device. My son usually asks Alexa to play music, control smart home devices, provide information, read audiobooks and more. But the Echo dot need to plug always and the sound is not loud enough.

I love my echo and dot so much thought I decided to buy a second one for the living room. My wife looked at me like I was crazy when I bought the echo and dot, acting like it just a tech toy thing. Alexa makes it so simple that she uses it more than I do for iHeart radio and Amazon music and the kitchen timer feature. She wanted the second dot for the living room.

I purchased the dot together with the echo for bedroom use. Now I have a good bedroom gadget. When I would like to fall asleep, Alexa will play me soothing music. When I need different times to get up, no problem with Alexa. She is the best!

Fairly intuitive piece of equipment. Can do many things but you have to watch how you talk to it in the way that you phrase things

I really enjoy my echo dot, from connecting to my stereo and streaming music off my phone or amazon prime,it's just great simply say what you want to hear and it searches for it.Really great for sports ,news ,weather reports and ordering off amazon.

Very nice makes life so much easier. Would definitely buy another one.

This is the best piece of technology we have added to our home. We use it every day from asking the temperature to setting alarms. My three year old can ask it to play her favorite songs. Best technology for the dollar.
