    If you’re looking to finally get yourself into the smart home scene but don’t want to spend a lot of money, then the Amazon Echo dot is the way to go. Amazon is the leader in the smart home AI space. I’m an Apple guy, but they’ve got a lot of catching up to do. I was extremely impressed that Amazon has tons of compatible devices and skills to meet anyone’s needs

    I am not a fan of Android Auto or Apple CarPlay, way too limiting for my entertainment needs and I don’t like having to take my eyes off the road to fiddle with it. This is my third Echo Dot and it lives in my car in a small open storage bin with a USB outlet. With my Dot, I can just tell it to play a podcast or any terrestrial or online radio station I want to listen to. Or, play a playlist, genre or artist. Wife uses it to listen to old time radio shows as it will play episodes in sequence. In the car, it is plenty loud. I use another one in my motor home and link it to the sound system via Bluetooth. In both cases, an internet connection is provided either by my phone or an ATT Mobley. I love this because using it is totally hands free. I can even call or message my other friends as most of them have Echo products.

    What can I say - works great and is tied to an incredible world of skills to activate. I love jeopardy while washing dishes - such a simple and neat little device and BB was a great option as Amazon was back ordered and BB had for same price.
