Use with a smart plug to voice activate lights in mom's bedroom. Being a semi cripple our major concern is falling. She can get into bed and turn lights off/on when she wants. Liked it so much bought one for my bedroom.

I purchased the Amazon Echo Dot for an elderly friend who is blind and is unable to use a computer. Having the ability to speak tto a device like the Echo helps her feel more connected to the wo told and her environment! There are so many smart devices you can add and control with this wonderful product. Thank you Amazon and Best Buy!

We call it Alexa Jr. She does a great job in the bedroom for music to fall asleep by as well as morning alarms and up to date info in the morning for traffic, weather and whatever else I program it for.

Search for this device for my son to use as an alarm and play music. 2 days before Christmas this was only one on the shelf. Kids love it and play with it to find answers to things they need and has it play back animal sounds.

My son got this as a Christmas present. It was easy to pair with his phone and set up, and we all had a blast asking Alexa silly questions on Christmas day. Now he uses it to play music and wake him in the mornings.

Great low profile wireless/blue tooth . Seems to grab vocal commands better than the gen 1, but that may be just me

I have one upstairs and one in the kitchen. Absolutely love it. Use it mostly for weather sports and timers. Way more functionality that I'm using yet. Will buy another one once I start getting smart lights and smart switches

Bought this alongside the google home mini for another friend. Both friends love them. But apparently the echo works better in terms of playing music. But at the Black Friday price, who wouldn’t get one?

I bought this for my wife as a gift thinking it might help her manage our household. Alexa adds so much more value than I had initially thought. She has become a part of our normal routine in the mornings with things such as weather updates, appointments/ reminders for the day, telling jokes and sharing interesting facts. We use this device to connect with other Bluetooth speakers in the house and stream music throughout the day. We purchased this when it was on sale for $39.99, but is fully worth the normal price. I would also add that we simply bought this and an additional Bluetooth speaker and I feel we get the same value and better quality than the higher priced product (cant remember the name). We plan to purchase more of these and have them spread throughout the house.

Sound not as crisp as the Alexa Echo but does the job of playing music and operating Home lights in a smaller area

This is my second Echo dot. I have one in every floor, and they work great. Easy to setup, and worked right away. Just connect it, and run through some minor settings. Now i can issue commands from every floor in my house

Amazon Echo Dot works pretty well. Can do lots of stuff.
